“The Devil,” a U.S. fugitive who was featured on “America’s Most Wanted,” has been captured in Mexico, the United States Marshals Service said. Antonio Riano, 62, was arrested Thursday in his hometown of Zapotitlan Palmas, State of Oaxaca, Mexico, officials said, where he was found to be working an ironic job. “When Riano was arrested in Mexico he was found to be working as a local police officer,” the agency said in a press release on Thursday. Afterwards, he fled the United States allegedly to avoid prosecution. After being captured, Riano was flown from Mexico City to Cincinnati, then transported to the Butler County Jail.

CNN —The Los Angeles Police Department on Sunday released photos of three individuals suspected of being involved in the fatal shooting of former “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor in May. The grainy photos released by LAPD on Sunday show three individuals wearing hooded sweatshirts, and police indicated the man who fired the weapon has a tattoo above his left eye and the right cheek. His mother told CNN affiliate KABC that her son had been walking with one of his coworkers when he saw what he thought was someone working on a car. LAPD told CNN at the time that three men were trying to steal a catalytic converter when the victim interrupted them. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim before the men drove off in a vehicle, according to police.

Federal Judge Maryellen Noreika has scheduled the sentencing proceeding in Delaware’s federal court for November 13, according to an order from the court on Friday. Hunter Biden faces a maximum sentence of up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 at sentencing. He also faces an upcoming second federal criminal trial, on tax charges in California, that could complicate his sentencing. In Delaware’s federal court, a jury unanimously voted to convict Hunter Biden in June on three felony gun charges intended to prevent drug addicts from possessing firearms.

A gunman shot two police sergeants who were trying to arrest him minutes after an armed robbery in a mahjong parlor on the Lower East Side in Manhattan on Thursday, Police Department officials said.
