Morgan Stanley thinks Wall Street overreacted to Kornit Digital's latest revenue guidance, and shares in the Israeli fabric printing company now present a favorable buying opportunity. Morgan Stanley's forecast implies more than 30% upside from Wednesday's $22.23 close. Kornit Digital shares are 6.6% higher in 2023 after climbing more than 10% early Thursday. KRNT YTD mountain Kornit Digital stock has shed 3.2% from the start of the year. But Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring says the market reaction to Kornit's lower second-half revenue forecast, which he says came in 7% below consensus estimates, was too severe.

But what’s really considered a plus-size body or garment? Mike Coppola/Getty ImagesThough there are no universal criteria for plus-size clothing, the general perception of what constitutes plus-size has changed over time. Sixty-seven percent of US women are considered plus-size, Downing Peters said. The dearth of plus-size clothing adds to a stigma that makes people with bigger bodies feel marginalized, she added. Other stores have meanwhile stopped separating standard and plus-size clothing into different departments, which may help eliminate stigma, Keist said.

If you watch winners in dresses, you think winners wear dresses. And it exists, Ms. Fleshman said, “until someone asks to change it.” Until someone says, effectively, “Wait — why are we doing it this way?”Wait. Wait, why are athletes wearing white shorts and wondering if spectators can tell they are menstruating instead of focusing on doing their job? Wait, why are the armholes of basketball jerseys so enormous that they act like windows to the sports bra? As the planet warms, experts say picking the right clothing to beat the heat will be critical to your health and well-being. Allow sweat to evaporateHumans are designed to self-regulate body temperature by radiating heat directly off the skin and by sweating. “But while you’re exercising, it would be a great choice.”At this time, however, no wardrobe choices can protect the body from really intense heat, Katta said. “The National Weather Service has done a great job of emphasizing the heat index, which considers both heat and humidity, and I think it’s really important,” Katta said. “We can create textiles, clothing and accessories as a form of health, for medicine, for human comfort,” Hu said.

I recently bought a vintage 1980s Italian designer silk chiffon dress with matching belt and jacket, in somewhat fragile condition. And is there a way to keep sweat off the delicate fabric so I can wear it more places? So it’s worth recognizing that while vintage shopping is a laudable and sometimes highly satisfying practice, one rife with the promise of unique and unexpected finds — the mystery of what might be unearthed! Not to mention a slightly different way of thinking about exactly what you are buying and its role in your life. (Vintage shopping for collectible pieces is a whole different matter with a different value proposition.)

Who Gets to Wear G-Strings Now?

The court ruled on G-strings in the case of Barnes v. Glen Theatre Inc. in 1991 and in City of Erie v. Pap’s A.M. in 2000. In both cases, exotic dancers who wanted to completely strip down argued that laws requiring them to wear G-strings infringed on their First Amendment rights. In recent years, a number of North Carolina municipalities have loosened restrictions and enforcement of nudity laws to accommodate an increase in scantily clad beachgoers. Thong bikinis are legal in most parts of the United States, but laws vary by city and county. In Florida, for example, thong swimwear is prohibited in state parks, including some portions of the state’s beaches.

OTTAWA, July 11 (Reuters) - Canada's corporate ethics watchdog on Tuesday launched separate investigations into Nike Canada (NKE.N) and Dynasty Gold (DYG.V) to probe allegations that they used or benefited from forced Uyghur labor in their supply chains and operations in China. Nike Canada and Dynasty Gold are alleged to have or have had supply chains or operations in China identified as using or benefiting from the use of Uyghur forced labor, the Ombudsperson said in the statement. In the last couple of years several large U.S. and Canadian multinational companies have been accused of using Uyghur forced labor either directly or in their supply chains. The initial assessment into Nike details supply relationships with Chinese companies identified as using or benefiting from the use of Uyghur forced labor. The complaint against Dynasty Gold is that it benefited from the use of Uyghur forced labor at a mine in China in which the company holds a majority interest.

MEXICO CITY, July 3 (Reuters) - The U.S. wants Mexico's government to build strong institutions to protect worker rights as companies aiming to avoid supply chain disruptions in far-off production spots bring more jobs to the country, a top U.S. labor official told Reuters. Mexico has begun to benefit from "nearshoring" in which companies seek to move production closer to the U.S. market while maintaining competitive costs. "Hopefully that will ensure that Mexico doesn't become a dumping ground for companies looking for cheap labor and lax regulations," said Thea Lee, U.S. Deputy Undersecretary for International Labor Affairs who polices USMCA compliance. Mexico has made progress improving labor courts, resolving worker complaints faster and easing union organization, but needs to do more, Lee said. Since 2020, several U.S. labor complaints in Mexico have paved the way for independent unions to land pay raises and even expand.
