Before Thursday, analysts had expected Apple to guide to about $98 billion in sales in the company's fiscal second quarter.
Last year, in the March quarter, Apple reported $97.28 billion in sales.
In other words, December 2022's year-over-year revenue performance was even worse than it looked.
Mac sales will be down at least 10% in the March quarter, based on these comments, but will likely improve.
