The three All-Star Resorts are usually my go-to. All-Star Movies probably has the most Disney touches. Kim Renfro/INSIDERI often stay at one of the three All-Star Resorts (All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, or All-Star Sports), which share one property at Disney World. They're usually the cheapest resorts and have the same general perks as the expensive ones. But there are family suites available at All-Star Music, and that's easily the cheapest way to accommodate a larger party at Disney World.

Until recently, Dorval R. Carter Jr. was another relatively unknown bureaucrat, a man who had quietly worked under three mayors as the president of the Chicago Transit Authority. These days, in the eyes of his many critics, he is the face of all that is wrong with the city’s public transportation system. “Yes, C.T.A. chief Carter needs to go,” Crain’s Chicago Business wrote in an editorial last month, saying that his agency was in a “shambolic state.” Gov. On Wednesday, the Chicago City Council is expected to introduce a resolution calling for Mr. Carter’s ouster — with a majority of council members in support of what is essentially a vote of no confidence.

But the chapter on "Daily Rules and Customs" is where foreigners will find specific guidance on "life rules" that illustrate Japan's emphasis on collectivism and respect. Not only party and music levels should be kept to a minimum, but also "voices" and "TV" levels, the guidebook states. A Japanese guidebook for foreigners advises against making noise by using washing machines early in the morning or late at night. The company's goal is to add 10,000 bidirectional EV school buses across the U.S. with 300 gigawatt hours of energy available to power grids each year. In effect, instead of the one-way charge into the vehicle, the school buses will be able to send their battery power back to the grid through Zum charging infrastructure. The roughly 500,000 school buses are mostly diesel, contributing to emissions. Ram Ambatipudi, senior vice president of business development at EV Connect, which provides EV charging solutions, said the school bus model is one of the most promising in the area of using EV battery storage in a bidirectional nature. "The low-hanging fruit from what I've seen is the school bus model," Ambatipudi said.

CNN —The driver of the pickup truck involved in a Tuesday crash that killed eight people and left more than 40 injured in north-central Florida has been arrested and charged with eight counts of DUI manslaughter, according to a news release from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The 2010 International Bus carrying “approximately 53 farm workers” and a 2001 Ford Ranger sideswiped each other around 6:35 a.m., about 15 miles west of Ocala, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a statement. The Ford, “for unknown reasons, traveled toward the center line” before the vehicles struck each other, Lt. Patrick Riordan of the Florida Highway Patrol said at a news conference at the scene. The bus then left the roadway, went through a fence and overturned. There’s no reason for me to be involved with these individuals.

But with the protests “in mind,” the electric vehicle maker has decided that all other workers at the factory should also stay at home, RTL said. André Thierig, a senior manufacturing director at the Tesla factory, confirmed in a post on X Tuesday that there would be a “one-day planned production shutdown” Friday. “Without the explicit instruction and authority of your manager, access to the site or factory will not be possible,” the Tesla email reportedly said. Landing by helicopter at a women’s prison where the Vatican has mounted its pavilion for the Venice Biennale international art exhibition, Pope Francis on Sunday told the women incarcerated there that they had a “special place in my heart.”“Grazie,” one woman called out. Others applauded. Over the decades, countries participating in the Biennale — the world’s principal showcase for new art — have used deconsecrated churches, former beer factories, water buses and various other sites to display their art, but this was the first time a prison was selected. That made the project “more complex and more difficult to implement,” Bruno Racine, the director of two venues of the Pinault Collection in Venice and a co-curator of the Vatican Pavilion, said in an interview. But the setting is consistent with Francis’ message of inclusivity toward marginalized people, he added.

This May it is introducing a new service, the Hamptons Streamliner, that, starting at $195 a ticket, will take passengers to destinations on eastern Long Island aboard … a bus. Like Blade’s helicopters, seats on which start at $1,025, its buses are marketed as a luxurious option for Hamptons-goers. New York CNN —President Joe Biden praised the United Auto Workers and Daimler Truck for reaching a tentative in the eleventh hour Friday night, preventing a potential strike affecting 7,300 workers. Daimler is a major manufacturer of trucks and buses, responsible for producing Thomas Built buses, one of the most popular brands of school buses in the United States. CNN has reached out to Daimler Truck for comment. The tentative agreement comes on the heels of increased momentum for the UAW. The subsequent contract negotiations won record pay increases for UAW members at the three companies.
