These are tumultuous times for Meta , with investors fleeing the stock and the metaverse having its fair share of struggles and other economic headwinds. The stock in late September plunged to trade at its lowest since January 2019 — and has since dropped even more. Users are jumping ship and advertisers are reducing their spending, leaving Meta poised to report its second straight drop in quarterly revenue. Meta also lost $2.81 billion on $452 million in revenue from its virtual reality division during the quarter ending in June — as it spent heavily to develop virtual reality and augmented reality products. Two tech investors faced off on CNBC's " Street Signs Asia " on Wednesday to make a case for and against buying the stock.

So far, Dude Products has eschewed most investors. When COVID struck, demand for the brand's signature Dude Wipes took off. "When the toilet-paper rush happened, everybody's buying as many Dude Wipes as they can get from us," Riley said.

You can now unsend and edit texts with Apple's new iOS 16 update. Apple announced in June that its fall software update, iOS 16, would allow users to unsend and edit texts. But one of my friends noted that it doesn't appear as an edited text — both the original message and another bubble of words appear, with the latter including the edited copy. Apple also isn't the only platform that offers these features — Google lets users unsend emails, and Slack users have had that capability for a while now. But being able to amend texts on my iPhone still feels like a novelty.
