Portarul maghiar, Peter Gulacsi, rămâne loial clubului RB Leipzig. Goalkeeper-ul și-a prelungit contractul cu gruparea din Bundesliga, la care va rămâne, astfel, până în iunie 2025.Precedentul acord a fost valabil până în 2023, dar Gulacsi avea o clauză de eliberare, ce putea fi activată în această vară.Acesta a ajuns la RB Leipzig în 2015, fiind transferat de la clubul austriac Red Bull Salzburg. Peste un an, el a devenit portarul titular al echipei din Saxonia. Gulacsi a jucat deja 222 de meciuri pentru "taurii roșii", iar în 72 dintre ele și-a păstrat poarta intactă.Goalkeeper-ul deține două recorduri ale clubului - este jucătorul cu cele mai multe meciuri în Bundesliga, 162, dar și în Liga Campionilor, cu 24 la număr.La începutul carierei, Peter Gulacsi, a fost legitimat la FC Liverpool, însă nu a jucat nici un meci pentru prima echipă a "cormoranilor". În schimb, a fost împrumutat la Hereford United, Tranmere Rovers și Hull City, la care a bifat, în total, 50 de partide.
