A series of other awards were presented by Skytrax alongside the top airlines ranking, including regional breakdowns and awards for different types of flights. Overall winner Qatar Airways was also voted the world's best business class and the top airline in the Middle East, while second-placed Singapore Airlines topped the lists for the world's best cabin crew and best first class, as well as the best airline in Asia. The two automakers did not provide a name for the new joint venture company or name its leadership team.
