Rescuers are scrambling to find dozens of people missing after severe flash floods ripped across southern and eastern Spain, where some areas received up to 12 inches of rain in just a few hours.
At least 95 people were killed, with the majority of deaths in the worst-hit region of Valencia, after being hit by the worst rainfall in the region in 28 years.
The deluge of floodwater overturned cars, inundated highways and forced people to flee to rooftops to wait for rescuers.
Emergency services in Valencia, the city of Malaga, and Castile-La-Mancha, among other regions, said search and rescue missions were still under way.
