The US President endorsed his current vice president, and many prominent Democrats, including Barack Obama, have followed his lead. Money has been pouring into Harris's campaign, and the vice president has already begun campaigning against former president Donald Trump. With Vance by his side, Trump has been trying to woo Silicon Valley away from Biden. Notably, the vice president hasn't taken a strong stance on cryptocurrency, but some expect her to become more pro-crypto than Biden. Meanwhile, with support from pro-crypto running mate JD Vance, Trump has announced he plans to be the first "crypto president."

Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting wealthy individuals, making cybersecurity concierges a new must-have for the rich and their families, including executives. While companies are spending heavily on cybersecurity, personal and home devices are generally less protected, making them easier to crack. And despite their sizeable assets and growing threat of cyberattacks, family offices and wealthy families don't think of themselves as targets because hackings are rarely publicized. JPMorgan Private Bank offers cybersecurity help to its ultra-high net worth clients, along with lifestyle and travel services. Grace, a 29-year-old publicist in New York, has regularly used a slew of dating apps for more than four years, with little luck. Among millions, a consensus is forming: Dating apps suck so bad that they might even be deliberately keeping us from finding love. In Tokyo, the city government is even releasing its own dating app, part of a campaign called Tokyo Futari Story ("futari" means couple). Bouke de Vries, an associate professor of philosophy at Ghent University in Belgium who's studied dating apps, argues that state-run dating apps are at least in theory better positioned to help people find partners without spending too much money or time in the process. Last year, Japan's most popular dating app, the Match Group-owned Pairs, began collaborating with several prefectures and cities.

CNBC's Jim Cramer looked at what might have spurred Wednesday's Big Tech sell-offs, reviewing why investors may have been disappointed with earnings from Alphabet and Tesla . Cramer was impressed with the strength in the company's search business, as well as its Google Cloud revenue, which topped estimates at $10.35 billion. But Cramer said CEO Elon Musk "told a great story of self-driving technology, sorely needed energy production, not to mention humanoid robots." Cramer suggested both Alphabet and Tesla might not have declined if the market wasn't in the midst of a broader rotation out of tech. Cramer also examined stocks that have been seeing gains on the S&P 600 — the S&P's small cap index — as investors sell the mega caps.
