CNN —Twenty-two-time grand slam singles champion Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from next week’s Laver Cup due to fitness concerns, the tournament announced on Thursday. “I’m really disappointed to share that I won’t be able to compete at the Laver Cup in Berlin next week,” Nadal said in a statement. The Laver Cup has not announced who will replace Nadal to join Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas in Bjorn Borg’s Team Europe. The Education Department is assuring schools and students that its financial aid process is under control, after a botched overhaul over the past year that some colleges say has dented incoming classes.
