SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO, Argentina, April 1 (Reuters) - Red Bull KTM rider Brad Binder put on a masterclass in bravery and skill to win Saturday's MotoGP sprint race at the Argentina Grand Prix after starting 15th on the grid. Once Bezzecchi got past his Italian compatriot Marini, he looked to hunt Binder down on the final lap but the Red Bull KTM rider held on for the win. The step they made from yesterday was unreal - my bike worked fantastic," Binder added, as he moved up to fourth in the championship. Gavin Newsom of California praised Walt Disney World for its "masterclass" of putting Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida "back in his place" after the company created a loophole to maintain control of its land. News broke this week that a law giving the Florida governor power to take over Disney World's governing board is likely toothless. Democratic governors frequently criticize DeSantis' policies in Florida, and DeSantis last month mocked people who do so yet "end up being spotted on the beach somewhere vacationing in Florida." As for a potential 2024 GOP nomination contest between the former president and DeSantis, Newsom predicted Trump would "clean his clock."

Finland has been named the happiest country in the world — again. The Nordic country topped the "World Happiness Report 2023," published this week by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, which measures factors such as income, mental and physical health and societal generosity. According to the report: "Finland continues to occupy the top spot, for the sixth year in a row, with a score that is significantly ahead of all other countries." But there's no national secret behind Finnish happiness, said Heli Jimenez, senior director at the governmental organization Business Finland. To prove this, the country is giving away free trips to Finland for a four-day masterclass in Finnish philosophy and life balance.
Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the sixth year running. Visit Finland's masterclass is scheduled to take place over four days in mid-June. After repeated success in the area, Visit Finland is now offering ten people the chance to come to the country and learn how to be happy like the Finnish. Visit Finland's "Masterclass of Happiness" is scheduled to take place over 4-days in June at the Kuru luxury retreat in Finland's Lake District. The participants will also be filmed during the visit with the material used for Visit Finland's advertising, according to the website.
Finland is the happiest country in the world and has been since 2018. Now they're paying it forward and sharing the wisdom that keeps them in the top spot year after year... for free. Visit Finland, the country's tourism department, is offering to pay for ten people to travel to the country for a masterclass in happiness. Expert coaches will guide the lucky participants through four key themes: nature and lifestyle, health and balance, design and everyday, and food and well-being. Visit Finland is accepting applications now through April 2, 2023.
The World Happiness Report released its annual ranking of the happiest countries in the world and for the sixth year in a row Finland has landed in the top spot. "This gap is small in countries where almost everyone is very unhappy, and in the top countries where almost no one is unhappy," the report states. This year's ranking is similar to those in the past, with the same Nordic countries taking the top three spots. Finland is willing to share its wisdom: It's offering a free "masterclass of happiness" to help travelers find their "inner Finn." The United States didn't rank in the top 10 on the list, but it did land at No.
U.S.-based GSV invests only in edtech startups around the world and manages about $500 million in assets. These are very early days for the Indian edtech market," Deborah Quazzo, managing partner at GSV, told Reuters on the sidelines of the Emeritus-GSV Leaders Summit in New Delhi on Monday. Edtech startups in India have laid off thousands of employees in the past year and have been unable to raise funding as a slowdown gripped the market. Indian edtech startups raised $2.6 billion in 2022, down 36% compared to the previous year, according to data provider Tracxn Technologies. The Indian government is also "pretty constructive" on education policies, a key factor that encourages investors like GSV to invest, she said.

The US Virgin Islands is suing JPMorgan for facilitating Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking scheme. The finger-pointing comes in response to a lawsuit the US Virgin Islands attorney general filed against JPMorgan in December, in a Manhattan federal court. In court filings Wednesday asking a judge to dismiss the US Virgin Islands lawsuit, JPMorgan said the US territory got greedy after already reaching a settlement with Epstein's estate last year. If anything, JPMorgan claims, the Virgin Islands attorney general's office was in an even better position to stop Epstein's trafficking scheme given its powers as a law enforcement agency. In fact, JPMorgan says, the Virgin Islands government "granted Epstein and his businesses lucrative privileges and massive tax incentives."

"Us Aussies, we stick together," De Minaur had said in a post-match interview after the home fans watched him beat Benjamin Bonzi at Rod Laver Arena. The fans found their voice again in the second set when Popyrin took it to a tiebreak but Shelton was undeterred, silencing them again with both his firepower and finesse, closing out the set with another roar. Classy Arsenal outgun Spurs to extend lead at the top

LONDON, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Leaders Arsenal put on a masterclass to overwhelm shell-shocked north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 away and extend the gap at the top of the Premier League to eight points on Sunday. The Gunners flew out of the blocks from the opening whistle and built a first-half lead through a clumsy own goal by Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris and a sublime strike from Martin Odegaard. Tottenham were totally outplayed by a fired-up Arsenal side under Mikel Arteta who were determined to make amends for a loss at Spurs last season that ultimately cost them a top-four place. Striker Harry Kane, needing one more goal to equal Jimmy Greaves all-time Spurs' scoring record, had chances either side of the break but keeper Aaron Ramsdale was equal to them. The win puts Arsenal on 47 points from 18 games ahead of Manchester City on 39, with Newcastle United, who have played a game more, and Manchester United a further point back.

Rahul hails 'phenomenal' Iyer as Shakib rues missed chances

DHAKA, Dec 25 (Reuters) - India's stand-in captain KL Rahul heaped praise on middle order batsman Shreyas Iyer after their thrilling victory in the second test against Bangladesh while home captain Shakib Al Hasan was left to rue missed opportunities. However, Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin then forged an unbroken 71-run stand to frustrate Bangladesh and pull off a thrilling victory for the tourists. Mehidy Hasan (5-63) and Shakib (2-50) wreaked havoc with the ball, but Iyer gave a spin masterclass to secure India's victory. That proved a costly mistake in the end, but the hosts had also missed four chances in India's first innings. "It is slightly disappointing, as other teams don't miss the chances that we are missing," said Bangladesh captain Shakib.
