He’s not Hitler,” former first lady Melania Trump said in an interview Tuesday on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” when asked how she feels about people comparing Trump to the Nazi leader. “The newest line from Kamala and her campaign is that everyone who isn’t voting for her is a Nazi,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Atlanta. I’m the opposite of a Nazi.”Reached for comment Tuesday, Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said that Trump is "correct." Tim Walz, said at an event in Henderson, Nevada, on Sunday that there was “a direct parallel” between Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally and the Nazi event. A Trump campaign spokesperson denied the reports, as did the former president, saying that he never made positive comments about Hitler.

London CNN —The teenager charged with the murder of three young girls in a July stabbing attack at a dance class in northwest England will face a terrorism charge, British prosecutors announced Tuesday. The new charges he faces in relation to the attack in the town of Southport, England, are in addition to three charges of murder, 10 charges of attempted murder and one charge of possession of a knife. “Searches of Axel Rudakubana’s home address resulted in an unknown substance being found – testing confirmed the substance was ricin,” Kennedy told reporters at a news conference. CNN —The Supreme Court declined Tuesday to let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. withdraw his name from ballots in Michigan and Wisconsin, battleground states where votes for his now suspended campaign could cut into support for former President Donald Trump. Kennedy, who left the presidential race in August and endorsed Trump, urged the Supreme Court in an emergency appeal to force the states to yank his name from the ballots. The Supreme Court handed down its decision without further explanation, which is common on its emergency docket. The Supreme Court also rejected that request. “This election is not merely ‘imminent,’ it is already underway, and voters are already voting,” Michigan officials had told the Supreme Court.

For Democrats, President Joe Biden dominated the primaries and faced only token opposition. Vice President Kamala Harris speaks as former President Donald Trump listens during a presidential debate at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on September 10, 2024. Trump was accused by the Justice Department of election interference after he tried to overturn the 2020 election results. The most populous states are California (54 electoral votes), Texas (40 electoral votes) and Florida (30 electoral votes). The total number of electoral votes, 538, is an even number, which means a tie is conceivable.

"Territory" is a new Netflix drama series about the fight for a cattle station in Australia. Here's everything we know about a potential season 2. Netflix's answer to "Yellowstone" has arrived in the form of a new drama series with sweeping views of Australia and a family's fight to preserve their legacy. With comparisons to successful shows like "Yellowstone" and "Succession," and a solid debut on Netflix, "Territory" could have longevity on the streamer. The finale ends with Colin giving Graham and Emily the keys to the house, alluding to them becoming the new successors — meaning there's plenty more to explore in a potential season two.

Now, young men have emerged as a voting bloc that could potentially swing an election expected to see a razor-thin margin of victory for the candidate who wins. The trend has been especially pronounced among young men of color. Adding to the complexity is that younger men have actually experienced solid economic gains, at least on paper, during the Biden administration. Yet, some young men continue to express concerns about making ends meet, and say they consider current immigration policies to be an obstacle to their upward mobility. In the University of Chicago GenForward poll, young men named “economic growth” as their No.1 issue, with inflation not far behind.

“Just to both of us getting frustrated.”Therein lies the problem: Gentle parenting is proving to be too hard on many parents. One study published in July found that over 40% of self-identified gentle parents teeter toward burnout and self-doubt because of the pressure to meet parenting standards. A wave of think pieces called gentle parenting “too gentle” of a practice that required a parent to turn into a “self-renouncing, perpetually present humanoid.”The gentle parenting philosophy, said Pezalla, is largely a social media trend with no scholarship to back it up. Enter gentle parenting. In theory, gentle parenting has great values to apply to parenting practices — speak kindly and honor connections.

During a special election in Wisconsin over the summer, a group of partisan poll watchers showed up at a handful of precincts in Glendale, a suburb of Milwaukee, and created chaos by contesting every absentee ballot that was cast. Some advocates for gender-affirming care for youth say the report mischaracterizes the normal caution being taken by researchers to carefully present and interpret scientific data. “They’re in really good shape when they come in, and they’re in really good shape after two years,” Olson-Kennedy told the Times. Her description appears to contradict the baseline characteristics of the 95 study participants, which were published in 2022. Numerous studies have documented high rates of suicide and suicidal thoughts in transgender children and teenagers, and the physical changes of puberty can greatly increase the distress of feeling trapped in the wrong body. Nine children – about 4% of the sample – expressed regret over puberty blockers or hormones, and four discontinued their therapy.
