Facing an escalating border crisis and pleas for relief by Republican and Democratic lawmakers alike, the Biden administration will begin flying Venezuelans back to their home country if they are here illegally, administration officials said Thursday. "There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States" along certain parts of the border, the notice said. Biden downplayed the notice Thursday as a matter out of his hands.
