Nearly 15% of McDonald’s ice cream machines are broken as of Thursday, according to McBroken’s data. McBroken was created a few years ago by Rashiq Zahid, who was also frustrated by the lack of working ice cream machines at McDonald’s. ☆ Wealthy investors support Harris over Trump, new survey says

According to a UBS survey of investors with at least $1 million of investible assets, 57% plan to vote for Harris and 43% plan to vote for Trump. Harris wins 91% of Democratic millionaires surveyed, 12% of Republicans and 60% of independents. Trump wins 88% of Republican millionaires, 9% of Democrats and 40% of independents. While they support Harris more broadly, the investors who were surveyed give Trump slightly higher marks on the economy and taxes. If Trump wins, they said defense and energy stocks look attractive, but if Harris wins, they said health care, sustainable investing and tech stocks look best, according to the survey.

He is very eager to tell his story,” the embattled rap mogul’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in an interview for a new TMZ documentary. When contacted by CNN, a representative for Combs declined to elaborate on Agnifilo’s comments or say whether Combs will, in fact, take the stand. Asked by TMZ about video of Combs, Agnifilo said that if Combs testifies, he would explain his actions in the video. Australia's inflation rate has come within the RBA's target range in the month of August, easing from 3.5% in July to 2.7%., according to a Wednesday release from the country's Bureau of Statistics. The drop puts the rate below the Reserve Bank of Australia's target range of 2%-3% for the first time since August 2021. He said that while the relief programs will bring headline inflation to the top of the RBA's target range, the RBA will be "looking through" these subsidies and focusing on core inflation. He writes, "the path of core inflation back to the target range has stalled somewhat, and it is hard to see a major improvement in the near term. We think the bank will need to see three more inflation prints before they are comfortable embarking on an easing cycle."

In opening remarks before a meeting with senior officials on Russia's nuclear deterrence on Wednesday, which were released by the Kremlin and translated by NBC News, Putin said that "a number of clarifications ... defining the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons" are being made to the document that defines Russia's nuclear doctrine. Russia's latest comments on changing its nuclear doctrine are not a surprise — Moscow has hinted for months that it was making changes to its official stance on the use of nuclear weapons. In its 2020 policy, Russia nonetheless described nuclear weapons as "a means of deterrence," the use of which would be "an extreme and necessary measure."
