If you're trying to decide if a credit card annual fee is worth it, look at its benefits and assess how many you'll use. This card's $650 annual fee is extremely high for a hotel credit card (or any credit card, for that matter). Credit cards with annual fees frequently asked questions (FAQ)What is a credit card annual fee? Credit card annual fees are effectively a paywall you have to breach if you want to enjoy enhanced (and sometimes super exclusive) benefits you won't find on a no-annual-fee credit card. If you won't use the benefits and perks of an annual fee-incurring credit card, no annual fee credit cards are the way to go.
David Slotnick/Business InsiderMany travel rewards cards offer elite-like hotel benefits when you book with their online portals. The prices through credit card travel portals are often on par with booking directly through hotels. However, it's only available to Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Spark Travel Elite cardholders. Bottom lineYou might not have a premium hotel credit card or elite status with one of the major loyalty programs. However, that doesn't mean you can't take advantage of credit card booking portals to enjoy perks like room upgrades, free breakfast, and on-property credits.

CNN —Kelly Ripa is opening up about her complicated relationship with her former morning show co-host, the late Regis Philbin. The pair co-hosted “Live With Regis and Kelly” from 2001 and 2011. “I don’t want to feel like I’m slamming anyone or that I’m being disrespectful,” she told the publication. The job offer also came with the “ominous” warning, “They want you to know who your boss is,” Ripa said. When she arrived at the show with her hair and makeup team, Ripa said Philbin turned to their executive producer Michael Gelman and said, “Uh-oh, Gelman, it’s got an entourage.”“I felt horrible,” Ripa recalled.
Refiners, insurers, shippers and traders would be able to deal in Russian crude and products if they adhere to the price cap and its associated compliance measures. For argument's sake let's assume a Brent price of $80 by December when the ban comes into effect, and a price cap for Russian crude of $60. However, the United States and Europe may actually not mind cheating on the price cap, depending on how the money is split up. More tankers will be required to ship Russian crude given an increase in voyage times if the crude and products go to Asia rather than Europe. The oil industry would likely prefer that Europe and the United States don't place restrictions on Russian crude, but this currently isn't an option from a political perspective.

Brown noise is like white noise but has a lower, deeper quality. She added that many patients have come in asking about brown and white noise as of late, often pointing to posts they’ve seen on social media. What is brown noise? When we play brown noise, we hear every frequency that the ear is able to detect at once, said Dr. Berlau.
