Millions of families across the world are celebrating the Lunar New Year, widely considered the most treasured festival in the Chinese calendar. Also known as the Spring Festival, celebrations begin on February 10 this year and last 15 days. Traditional Lunar New Year festivities include the exchange of "red packets" of money, fireworks, lion dances and travel to bring in good fortune, prosperity and togetherness. This holiday season also marks the first time in several years for celebrations to take place across mainland China without any Covid-19 restrictions. At the heart of the travel frenzy is a time for millions of families in the country and overseas to cherish time together.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Federal wildlife officials announced Wednesday they will consider adding 10 new species to the Endangered Species Act, including a big bumble bee that serves as a key pollinator across the United States. Fish and Wildlife Service officials said they had completed 90-day reviews of petitions to add the species to the list and determined that listing may be warranted. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2022 to include the bee on the Endangered Species List. The agency included Eastern hellbenders who live in Missouri on the Endangered Species List in 2021. More than 1,300 species are listed as either endangered or threatened in the U.S. under the Endangered Species Act.

CNBC's Jim Cramer on Monday suggested Tesla could lose its spot in the "Magnificent Seven" megacap stocks list. If Tesla falls out of favor, he said he thinks pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly is a solid contender to take the company's place. The other members of the Magnificent Seven include Apple , Amazon , Alphabet , Meta , Nvidia and Microsoft . "We're ready no matter what, but to ignore the decline of Tesla or the advance of Eli Lilly is to reject the facts," Cramer said. At nearly $600 billion, Eli Lilly leads the pharmaceutical industry in terms of market capitalization.
