Sept 11 (Reuters) - Several employees were injured at an Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) (ADM.N) facility in Decatur, Illinois, after an explosion within its processing complex, the company said in a statement on Sunday night. ADM said the incident happened at 7:11 p.m. CDT (0011 GMT) and that the injured had been taken to a hospital. The company said it did not have a confirmed cause of the incident as of Sunday night. The Decatur site, ADM's North American headquarters and its largest facility globally, houses a soybean crushing plant and one of the largest corn wet mills in the world. It was not immediately clear whether the blast would impact the processing facilities.

Aug 27 (Reuters) - The United Auto Workers (UAW) union at Ultium Cells, a joint venture of General Motors (GM.N) and LG Energy Solution (373220.KS) in Lordstown, Ohio, on Sunday said members voted in favor by 895 to 22 votes to ratify an interim agreement that immediately raises wages by $3 to $4 an hour. The interim wage increase will be retroactive to December 2022 and some workers will receive between $3,000 to $7,000, based on hours worked. The companies had said workers must still ratify the interim wage increase that takes effect Aug. 28. The UAW also said negotiations for a complete first contract will continue between the union’s elected bargaining committee and Ultium Cells. On Friday UAW workers voted overwhelmingly in favor of authorizing a strike at the Detroit Three automakers if an agreement is not reached before the current four-year contract expires on Sept. 14.

The storm has sustained winds of 60 mph (95 kph) and could reach Category 2 strength with sustained winds of 96 to 110 mph when it is forecast to make landfall in Florida on Wednesday, according to Governor Ron DeSantis. The governor said the hurricane could make landfall in northern Florida's Big Bend area - where the panhandle transitions into the peninsula. The union provisionally agreed to a new contract on Sunday, averting an immediate strike, but the agreement needed to be approved by workers.

Juul is working with Jefferies Financial Group Inc (JEF.N) for the fundraising, the report said, adding that the e-cigarette manufacturer had about $800 million in revenue in 2022.
