Brownlee also said he appreciated the high level of visibility in the truck, which has a massive windshield. "It feels way more nimble in parking lots and it feels like it shrinks the wheelbase, the whole dimensions of the truck," Brownlee said. The Cybertruck doesn't have any door handles — a feature that some new Cybertruck owners appeared to struggle with during the delivery event. Brownlee expressed some concerns about the lack of door handles on the Cybertruck.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The momentary bliss-fueled blackouts that used to consume T.J. Watt after every big play still come. So maybe it's best to let others — like older brother J.J. Watt — serve as his hype men. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin called Watt “the best defensive player on the planet” on Tuesday. Pittsburgh safety Minkah Fitzpatrick — himself a three-time All-Pro — laughed when asked if he took Tomlin's praise of Watt personally. “I just want to continue to be the best player I can be for myself and for this team.”___

Mr. DeSantis, the Republican, needs to lift his campaign for president a week ahead of the fourth Republican primary debate and under seven weeks before the Iowa caucuses. With Donald J. Trump still holding wide leads in the Republicans’ 2024 nominating contests, and Mr. Biden resolute on standing for re-election, both men could also be eyeing the 2028 presidential race, though neither would admit it. They have presented themselves as the fresh, new avatars of their respective ideologies and, potentially, the future of their political parties. Now, after they have used each other as foils for years, the debate could offer a culmination to their long-running public feud. The higher stakes for DeSantisMr. DeSantis has much more riding on this moment than his verbal sparring partner.

[1/4] Ambulances move inside a tunnel where rescue operations are underway to rescue trapped workers, after the tunnel collapsed, in Uttarkashi in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India, November 28, 2023. While augur machines managed to horizontally drill through nearly three-quarters of the debris, it fell on half a dozen miners adept at burrowing in tight spaces to reach the trapped workers on Tuesday. Some of the miners involved in the rescue operation said they were not involved in coal mining and got their training in Delhi. The pits are sized just enough for the workers, often children, to descend using ropes or ladders to extract coal - often without safety measures and proper ventilation. The practice became illegal in the 1970s, when India nationalised coal mines and gave state-run Coal India a monopoly.

"We saw a 70% increase in money given to Hamas-linked charities," said Uzi Shaya, a former high-ranking officer in Mossad, Israel's intelligence service. Charities suspected of funneling money to Hamas often change their names, too, making them all the more difficult to monitor. Israel's National Bureau of Counter Terror Financing maintains a list of charitable organizations that it accuses of directly aiding Hamas' military. Hard lessonsEnsuring that individual Gazans have economic opportunity without simultaneously funding Hamas militants has proven to be a difficult challenge for Israel. Beyond direct funding, Israel also allowed 18,000 Gazans to enter Israel to work, again hoping that a stable economy would pacify Hamas.

He was beaten in both the singles and doubles in Malaga, Spain as Italy beat Serbia 2-1 to set up a Davis Cup final against Australia on Sunday. “Obviously playing doubles in the decider of a Davis Cup tie is not easy. By November 2021, nearly two years after the coronavirus emerged in Wuhan and spread across the world, the surprises seemed to be over. Researchers in Botswana and South Africa alerted the world that a highly mutated version of the virus had emerged and was spreading fast. Omicron, as the World Health Organization called the variant, swiftly overtook other forms of the virus. In the two years since its emergence, Omicron has proved to be not only staggeringly infectious, but an evolutionary marvel, challenging many assumptions virologists had before the pandemic. “It was almost like there was another pandemic,” said Adam Lauring, a virologist at the University of Michigan.

A company’s board of directors has an obligation, first and foremost, to its shareholders. Strange board structureThe bizarre structure of OpenAI’s board complicated matters. And some, including former OpenAI board member Elon Musk, fear the technology will surpass humanity in intelligence and could wipe out life on the planet. Microsoft, despite its massive stake, does not hold an OpenAI board seat, because of the company’s strange structure. Alternatively, it could become a competitor to Altman, who may ultimately decide to start a new company and drain talent from OpenAI.

A satellite identifies tank tracks in the dirt, and a mall security camera catches the moment a bomb in Gaza detonates. While journalists' access to the war in Gaza is limited, a flood of video from all sorts of sources documents what is — and isn't — going on. That means combing through an endless supply of video posted on sources like X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, Telegram and Facebook. Sometimes images from video games are passed off as real, but experts can usually spot them. Satellite images, video and photos helped The Washington Post track where Israeli forces went during their initial incursion into Gaza.

So far, suspected Iranian hackers appear to have had minimal impact on their publicly claimed targets in Israel in the last month. But Portnoy said those hackers have been relatively quiet in the latest Israel-Hamas war (Israeli airstrikes have decimated internet infrastructure in Gaza.) “There is a gap between their [cyber] capabilities and their rhetoric,” the official told CNN, referring to Iran-backed hackers. “Even the successful, real cyberattacks are probably not going to be about the actual attack,” John Hultquist, Mandiant’s chief analyst, told CNN. This campaign is “maybe the most sophisticated we have seen from Iran on a technological level,” Sergey Shykevich, threat intelligence group manager at Check Point, told CNN.

By Nidal al-MughrabiGAZA (Reuters) - Doctors in Gaza say patients arriving at hospitals are showing signs of disease caused by overcrowding and poor sanitation after more than 1.4 million people fled their homes for temporary shelters under Israel's heaviest-ever bombardment. With all hospitals running out of fuel to power their generators, doctors have warned that critical equipment, like incubators for newborns, risk stopping. The World Health Organization warned that a third of Gaza hospitals were not operating. The only other hospital that had still been serving patients in northern Gaza, Beit Hanoun Hospital, stopped operations because of the intense bombardment of the town, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. "If the hospital doesn't get fuel, this is going to be a death sentence against the patients in northern Gaza," said Atef al-Kahlout, the hospital's director.

Despite a recent hiccup, growth stocks are in style as concerns about the US economy persist. Growth stocks may generate earnings quickly, but that doesn't mean stock-pickers should rush to sell them — even after letdowns like a disappointing quarter. Every stock in the 52-year-old growth fund has tailwinds like sustainable earnings growth and defendable competitive advantages, Humphrey said. Valuation is an afterthought for some growth managers, but not those on Humphrey's team. Good liars aren't nervous about manipulating others; rather, they are confident, dominant and relaxed as they exploit others. Whether expressing happiness, surprise, sadness or contempt, good liars can wrinkle their brows, raise their eyebrows, or bare their teeth in convincing ways that belie their true emotions. Effective liars say enough to be believed, but no more. To avoid sounding dishonest, good liars avoid this reconstruction-on-the-fly strategy of storytelling. A company that prioritizes product-market fit can build a great, customer-focused business. The venture capitalist Marc Andreessen has said that for startups, product-market fit is "the only thing that matters." I appreciate Marc's wisdom: Great product-market fit produces a sugar high. And that goal is well aligned with the broader social goal of making people less lonely. Over time, it became apparent that this was not a great social fit.

Electronic warfare has played an important if less visible role in the war in Ukraine. As the war has evolved, EW troops on both sides have had to adapt and innovate to remain effective. After nearly 300,000 casualties and many humiliating defeats, the Russian military is still struggling to adjust to Ukraine's willingness and ability to fight.
