FUKUOKA, Japan, July 26 (Reuters) - Australia's Mollie O'Callaghan finished with a flourish to break the longest-standing world record in women's swimming, claiming the 200 metres freestyle title in a time of one minute, 52.85 seconds at the World Aquatics Championships on Wednesday. Summer McIntosh of Canada was 0.80 seconds behind to take bronze in a world junior record time. Olympic champion Titmus had blazed to the 400m freestyle title on Sunday to erase 16-year-old McIntosh's mark and was well placed to go for another record after topping the semi-final time sheet. Hungary's world record holder Kristof Milak was absent from the men's 200m butterfly that followed, as the Olympic and world champion skipped the meet saying that he was not physically or mentally in a position to compete. The mixed 4x100m medley relay concludes the fourth day of swimming with the Americans tipped to win their third title.

Musk previously said that accounts based on "theft" of others' post would not get paid. The "internet hall of fame" account, which has 1.9 million followers and describes itself as highlighting the "best of the internet," in a screenshot Thursday was shown to have been paid $107,247.00. He didn't define exactly what he meant by "theft of posts," and it isn't totally clear whether Internet Hall of Fame would meet that definition.

PRAGUE, May 28 (Reuters) - Raising the Czech National Bank's interest rates further would still make sense as it could serve as a signal that the central bank has not given up on its efforts to tame inflation, board member Tomas Holub said on Sunday. The central bank has kept its main interest rate at 7.00% since last June when it delivered the last hike in a year-long tightening cycle. When asked if a hike would make sense at the next monetary policy meeting on June 21, Holub, who has consistently backed rate hikes, said yes. "If we have the risk of a wage-inflation spiral here, then sending the signal is still meaningful to me," Holub said.
