Israeli soldiers from the 7th Brigade escorted journalists to see a stone-and concrete-shaft on the grounds of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City on Thursday. But Col. Elad Tsury, commander of Israel’s Seventh Brigade, said Israeli forces, fearing booby traps, had not ventured down the shaft at the hospital, Al-Shifa. The controlled visit will not settle the question of whether Hamas, the armed Palestinian group that rules Gaza, has been using Al-Shifa Hospital to hide weapons and command centers, as Israel has said. Microsoft is bringing its Copilot chatbot to Windows 10

Microsoft said Thursday it will soon start testing the Copilot chatbot in an update to the widely used Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft on Oct. 31 started rolling out an update that features Copilot to Windows 11, its latest operating system. But among Windows PCs, Windows 11 has about 27% share, and Windows 10 leads with about 68%, according to StatCounter estimates. In Windows, Copilot can serve as "the everyday AI companion," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said on an October conference call with analysts. It will be similar to the Copilot in Bing and won't be able to perform as many PC-related functions as the Copilot in Windows 11, because some elements of Windows 11 aren't present in Windows 10, Woodman said.

FELCSUT, Hungary (AP) — A European Championship qualifying game between Switzerland and Israel ended with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday, a match that brought the Israeli team to Hungary after all scheduled games in Tel Aviv were postponed due to the Israel-Hamas war. The match was one of two “home games” Israel is hosting in Felcsut, a Hungarian village of around 1,900 people, as it chases a qualifying place in the Euro 2024 continental championship. Ahead of the game, fans draped in Israeli flags gathered outside the heavily guarded stadium, singing chants as their team's bus arrived. As fears of antisemitic acts are on the rise across Europe, the security of the Israeli team was a decisive factor in bringing the rescheduled qualifying games to Hungary. After Wednesday's game, Israel remains in third place in Group I of Euro 2024 qualifying, behind Switzerland and Romania with 16 points each.

That shift in demographics is expected to change how employers attract young talent since Gen Zers have different priorities compared to their older colleagues. LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada's attorney general is investigating six Republican electors who submitted a document to Congress falsely declaring Donald Trump the winner of the 2020 presidential election, a person with knowledge of the case said Wednesday. But the probe adds to official scrutiny of so-called fake electors in several swing states won by President Joe Biden in 2020, including investigations in Georgia, Michigan and Arizona. So-called “fake electors” were charged in Georgia and Michigan, and Trump faces charges both in Georgia and in a federal investigation of his conduct related to the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot. He told the Democratic Attorneys General Association last January he feared that making any comment would be seen as partisan. Efforts by AP to reach the other two fake electors, Durward James “Jim” Hindle III and Eileen Rice in northern Nevada, were not successful.
