A gunman killed one person and injured three others in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.
A transit employee was killed and three people were wounded by a gunman in a series of shootings in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday morning, police said.
The incident began when a man brandished a weapon on a city bus at around 9 a.m., Ashan Benedict , the executive assistant chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, said at a press briefing.
The man then allegedly left the bus, followed a fellow passenger and shot him in the leg.
