Comisia de competiţii din cadrul RFEF l-a sancţionat pe Messi cu o amendă de 600 de euro, iar cartonaşul galben primit de jucător pentru acest gest nu va fi anulat. FC Barcelona, amendată şi ea cu 180 de euro, intenţionează să facă apel împotriva acestor decizii.
