At least, that's what a new report by social-media-management-and-analytics company Sprout Social found. The April report from Sprout Social also broke down the average amount influencers charge for sponsored posts — with most charging at least $250 — consumer and creator views of AI influencers, and more. Sprout Social breaks down how much the influencers surveyed in February charged for sponsored content. Many of the influencers surveyed said creating long-form videos takes more time and doesn't usually pay off in terms of engagement. Meanwhile, many of the influencers surveyed (49%) said they were afraid virtual influencers would take paid opportunities away from humans .

Goldman Sachs just refreshed its lists of top global stock picks, adding some and removing others. The investment bank's "Conviction List - Directors' Cut" aims to offer investors a "curated and active" list of 15 to 25 buy-rated stocks. The stocks are selected by a subcommittee designated by the bank's Investment Review Committee for each region. Executives looking to boost their own profiles have for years paid freelancers to ghostwrite their LinkedIn posts. Now big PR firms are getting into the game, and LinkedIn profile management is going mainstream. Business Insider spoke to 14 PR firms that said more companies are asking for LinkedIn writing and strategy services for their leaders. Zappa said he does not offer specific rates for LinkedIn posts and instead includes LinkedIn in broader content contracts. However, he estimated that PR firms solely focused on LinkedIn ghostwriting could charge companies $5,000 a month for three to five LinkedIn posts.

The CMO role at several companies, including Walgreens, Uber, and Starbucks, has been eliminated. A 2023 McKinsey report found that 40% of Fortune 500 companies don't have a CMO or another growth- or customer-related position in their CEO's executive committee.
