Atlanta police on Tuesday continued to search for two robbers captured on video dropping into a check cashing store from the ceiling and grabbing stacks of cash from a safe. The images appear to be taken from the security video. The department also released some of that morning's video, captured from inside the store as its ceiling was breached and including the robbers' exit. A robber falls through the ceiling of a check cashing business in southwest Atlanta on Sept. 3. They fled out the rear portal, and video captured a woman walking by just after the door was opened.

London CNN —“Millions” of people could fall victim to scams using artificial intelligence to clone their voices, a UK bank has warned. Starling Bank, an online-only lender, said fraudsters are capable of using AI to replicate a person’s voice from just three seconds of audio found in, for example, a video the person has posted online. These types of scams have the potential to “catch millions out,” Starling Bank said in a press release Wednesday. “People regularly post content online which has recordings of their voice, without ever imagining it’s making them more vulnerable to fraudsters,” Lisa Grahame, chief information security officer at Starling Bank, said in the press release. As AI becomes increasingly adept at mimicking human voices, concerns are mounting about its potential to harm people by, for example, helping criminals access their bank accounts, and spread misinformation.

Some people think asking questions — to friends, peers or bosses — can make you look weak or insecure. But the simple act can actually help you garner influence and even get the people around to you change their minds, says communication expert Matt Abrahams — if you know the right questions to ask. "Asking a question puts you in a position of power," Abrahams, a Stanford University lecturer, tells CNBC Make It. Asking good questions "demonstrates you care, it demonstrates empathy, it demonstrates you're willing to learn and, in some cases, admit you don't know everything," he adds. Here's how to ask the right questions, at work, home and in your social life, to get ahead and strengthen relationships, he says.

A top election official in Arizona said he would file a suit Tuesday that could bar almost 100,000 residents from voting in state and local races this fall, claiming they have not provided citizenship documents required under state law. The planned suit from Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer is related to a specific part of Arizona election law that requires residents to provide documents that prove citizenship to vote in state and local elections. Such documents are not required for Arizona residents to register to vote or cast a ballot in federal elections. Since 1996, Arizona has required residents to provide proof of citizenship to obtain a driver’s license. Hobbs said her office would implement "an independent audit to ensure that MVD systems are functioning as necessary to support voter registration."

New users will be defaulted into teen accounts upon sign-up if they are under 18, but existing teen users may not see immediate changes. Many around the world won’t be placed into teen accounts until next year, according to a Meta fact sheet.
