Un bărbat în vârstă de 40 de ani, originar din orașul Kutaisi, Georgia, zis PAPUN , care are statut de ”hoț în lege” în lumea criminală, a fost reținut pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova. Acesta se afla în Moldova de circa 3 luni și intenționa să-și consolideze pozițiile sale de hoț în lege, în rândul persoanelor de etnie romă din nordul țării. Acesta a fost reținut în timp ce se afla într-un restaurant din orașul Otaci. În context, hoțul în lege a fost supus procedurilor legale de declarare ca persoană indezirabilă pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova pentru că intenţionează să desfăşoare activităţi care ar pune în pericol securitatea naţională și ordinea publică. La data de 8 iulie, cetățeanul georgian a fost escortat până la bordul navei aeriene cursa Chișinău – Istanbul, acesta părăsind țara și a primit interdicţie de a intra pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova pe un termen de 5 ani.
