Jack Burke Jr., who was the oldest living Masters champion and staged the greatest comeback ever at Augusta National for one of his two majors, died Friday in Houston. Burke, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, also won the PGA Championship and was equally skilled as a teacher. He built the fabled Champions Golf Club in Houston and delivered lessons along with a dose of homespun wisdom. His passing was confirmed by Steve Timms, the CEO and president of the Houston Golf Association who spoke with Burke's wife, Robin. TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Retired wrestler Hulk Hogan and a friend rescued a teenage girl who was trapped in an overturned vehicle after a crash in Florida, according to Hogan's social media posts. Hogan said on the social media platform X that he used a ball point pen to puncture the car's airbag and free the girl after witnessing the accident Sunday night in Tampa. His new wife, yoga instructor Sky Daily, took to Facebook to praise the quick action taken by her 70-year-old husband and the couple's friend Jake Rask. “By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!” Daily wrote. The Tampa Police Department said in an email Tuesday that there were only minor injuries from the crash.

Nov 6 (Reuters) - Wall Street brokerages largely initiated Birkenstock (BIRK.N) with their top ratings, pointing to a likely boost from the German luxury sandal maker's recent investments to increase capacity, expansion into newer styles and brand loyalty. Birkenstock's shares dropped to as low as $35.83 in the days after listing on Oct. 11 and has traded below the IPO price of $46 apiece. Citigroup was among the most bullish, with a price target of $52, a more than 26% jump from the last close. Telsey Advisory Group analysts said Birkenstock has further avenue to expand into footwear categories such as orthopedics and professional, outdoor and active, kids, home, and sneakers. Morgan Stanley assigned a price target of $41 and an "equal-weight" rating, saying most catalysts were already priced in.
