"We don't know its place of origin but it was probably traveling through interstellar space for less than 100 million years. It had a reddish color consistent with the colors of many small bodies in the solar system. A second interstellar object, the comet 2I/Borisov, was discovered visiting our solar system in 2019.
Atlanta's Truist Financial ($41 billion) now yields 6.2% while Minneapolis's U.S. Bancorp ($53 billion) pays 5.1% on its common stock. After all, high dividend yields are often a sign of financial or business distress, or a red flag that the payments so many mom-and-pop investors depend on are unsustainable. Wall Street just doesn't think most payouts will be cut — so long as any recession this year stays on the mild side. "Despite these lower dividend growth expectations, we believe these bank holdings still have attractive dividends," Peris added. Authorities plan to relocate 70 of the hippos living wild in Colombia, but it's not an easy task. Very carefully, according to David Echeverri López, head of Biodiversity Management, Protected Areas, and Ecosystem Services at Cornare in Colombia. So, authorities will continue pursuing other options, from sterilization to searching for other zoos and sanctuaries willing to take hippos. The thickness of a hippo's skin, and the density of their subcutaneous tissue, also makes it challenging to deliver enough anesthesia to keep them asleep for the right amount of time. Cornare has sterilized 13 hippos, López said, and relocated seven to zoos in Colombia.

Companies Conocophillips FollowWASHINGTON, March 13 (Reuters) - The oil industry on Monday cheered the U.S. government's greenlighting of ConocoPhillips' multibillion-dollar oil drilling project in Alaska's Arctic, but court challenges could mire the plans in further delays. President Joe Biden's administration approved a trimmed-down version of the $7 billion Willow project on federal lands in a pristine area on Alaska's north coast. Kristen Monsell, a senior attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity, another group involved in the previous suits, said Monday's approval for the Willow project is "still inadequate in numerous respects." Senator Dan Sullivan, a Republican from Alaska, told reporters the state's lawmakers are prepared to defend the decision against "frivolous" legal challenges. Even if Interior could beat back the oil company's challenge, it would probably only mean another delay for Willow, he said.

A more aggressive Federal Reserve when it comes to interest rate hikes could mean trouble for stocks and other assets, according to Goldman Sachs. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell shook Wall Street this week when he said, during separate appearances on Capitol Hill, that he expects the central bank to push rates higher than previously thought. Hotter inflation data means the Fed still has work to do, Powell said in his semiannual testimony on monetary policy. While Goldman thinks it's a "close call" that the Fed is still more likely to approve a 0.25-point hike , the firm is making room now for a higher trajectory for rates. Markets Thursday morning were pricing in a nearly 81% probability of a 50-basis point, or 0.5 percentage point, rate hike at the meeting, according to CME data.
