Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger can look back and laugh now about their heated rivalry as they once sought to one-up each other in terms of box-office muscle. Give Arnold the edge when it comes to Netflix documentary memoirs, with his eponymous three-parter easily topping “Sly,” a too Stallone-centric rumination on his “Rocky” rise. Sylvester Stallone earlier in his career, as seen in "Sly." Simply put, Zimny has sat back and allowed this to feel too much like a licensed product. Compared to the best of that fertile genre, though, it’s more of a lightweight than a genuine contender.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is owning up to a past feud with a fellow action star. The septuagenarian former governor of California visited the “Graham Norton Show”on Friday, where he admitted that he and Sylvester Stallone started out as major “movie rivals” before they became “fantastic friends.”“We were movie rivals, but we took the competitiveness to the extreme,” the “Terminator” star explained on the show. “We each had to have the best body, we had to kill more people in our films, and we had to have the biggest guns,” Schwarzenegger continued. “It got out of control, and we tried to derail each other,” he added. This year, both Schwarzenegger and Stallone are also the subject of Netflix documentaries, with “Arnold” having come out in June and “Sly” due to premiere next month.

That is true both for the two countries at the national level, and for state-level engagement. California has a steady and long working relationship with China. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a Republican governor, started the formal relationship with China over climate cooperation a decade ago, Jaros said. State regulators also have banned the sale of most new gas-powered cars in California by 2035. Meanwhile, the California family of a Christian pastor who has been detained in China since 2006 said Newsom should take any possible opportunity to argue for his release.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's role as a father of five children has had its fair share of dramatic moments. Some of them seem somewhat extreme: Schwarzenegger burned a pair of his daughter Katherine's shoes when she was a child after she failed to put them away properly, despite her father's repeated instructions, he said. He grew up with little money and a strict father of his own, and wanted to ensure his children were self-reliant and responsible. Schwarzenegger said he's "really well-bonded with my kids" today and that his adult children often laugh when reflecting on his punishments. For most parents, though, it isn't the best or safest way to keep kids in line, says Zeltser.

Some observers say his moves are largely consistent with both the views of California voters and the political tone that Newsom struck in his first term. While Newsom delighted labor advocates with many of his signatures, he also angered them with some vetoes. “It’s because that’s what Californians want their governor to be.”Newsom's actions reflect that he is “a consistently left-of-center Democratic governor,” said Wesley Hussey, a political science professor at California State University, Sacramento. Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, who heads the California Labor Federation, said “it's almost cruel” that workers who go on strike aren't guaranteed insurance benefits. Newsom signed legislation to make sure LGBTQ+ foster youth are placed with families able to support their well-being, train school staff to better support LGBTQ+ students and seal legal gender-change petition documents for minors.

Indeed, Schwarzenegger says that having a vision of what you want is a key first step towards achieving your goals. "It can begin by looking back in time and thinking very broadly about the things you used to love," Schwarzenegger writes. "Your obsessions are a clue to your earliest vision for yourself, if only you had paid attention to them in the beginning." In his own case, Schwarzenegger says his initial vision was simply "of America." Though he didn't yet know how he would do it, he had a clear goal of coming to the United States.

The former California governor, action movie star and bodybuilder says he remembers a time when his body felt “powerful.” Now, at age 76, he doesn’t feel quite the same. Schwarzenegger appeared on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” where he said he keeps a sense of humor about aging. “I kind of smile because every day I do look in a mirror and I say, ‘Yep, you suck,” he told Stern. “Let’s go and teach kids to be tough, to go out and do sports, to go and study, to struggle, and to go through these kind of painful moments sometimes,” he told Stern.
