PARIS, Oct 28 (Reuters) - From where they were at the end of their dismal warm-ups, England's World Cup was an unqualified success and they were within three minutes of one of the great sporting turnarounds. They arrived amid the gloom of five defeats in six games but finished on a high with six wins out of seven. The skewed nature of the draw obviously favoured them, and reaching the semi-finals looked possible and even probable regardless of their form based on their World Cup history and the quality of players in the squad. Already assured of top spot in their group, England laboured against Samoa before snatching a late victory. "I always believed we would be right... We were clear that the World Cup isn't played in August," he said after clinching third place.

South Africa won seven of their eight scrums while England could only won three of their seven, and that eventually gave the defending champions the decisive momentum. England have not scored a try against South Africa at a World Cup since the pool phase in 2003. South Africa are current world champions and world number ones for a reason," Borthwick said. Bumble had a "modest budget" at the time, Wolfe Herd said in a MasterClass course released on Thursday. Instead of traditional marketing campaigns, Wolfe Herd put together a series of "crazy hacks" to drum up interest in her Austin, Texas-based startup, she said. Wolfe Herd used a similar tactic with college fraternities, dropping off pizza with branded bumblebee stickers slapped onto the cardboard boxes. For Wolfe Herd, the momentum was validating. There are many factors that can impact your mental health, from tough periods with finances to difficulties in your relationships; but where you live may also play a significant role. Some U.S. states seem to have better systems in place to promote positive mental health — and improve their residents' satisfaction — than others. Soliant Health, a company that offers healthcare jobs and staffing services nationwide, released a ranking of the 2023 Best States for Mental Health this September. The company used data from several reputable sources, like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The report based each state's ranking on eight categories:The frequency of "bad mental health days" reported by the populationMental health provider accessSuicide rates for people aged 15 to 24The frequency of violent crimeUnemployment ratesThe rate of "disconnected youth," which refers to those between ages 16 and 19 who aren't working or attending schoolAccess to areas where people can exercise such as parks and recreation centersAir pollution, which they used to "offset states with limited access to exercise opportunities due to rural landscapes and larger bodies of nature or protected land"DON'T MISS: I took Finland’s free masterclass on happiness: Here are 3 things I learnedThese ten states have the best conditions to "meet the mental health needs" of their residents.

CNN —The Miami Dolphins put on an offensive masterclass Sunday, defeating the Denver Broncos 70-20 in their home opener and scoring the second most points by a team in a regular season game in NFL history. The NFL record for one game is 73 points, set by the Chicago Bears in the 1940 NFL Championship. The regular season record is 72 points by Washington in 1966. Late in the fourth quarter the Dolphins had a chance to break the NFL regular season record and tie the Bears’ mark but opted to kneel instead of kicking a field goal from the Broncos’ 28-yard line. The only other team to score 70 points in an NFL game was the Los Angeles Rams in 1950 against the Baltimore Colts.

It's not easy to break a bad habit, but with effort and consistency, it's not impossible to make significant changes in your life. James Clear, author of the popular book, "Atomic Habits," recently launched a MasterClass series that addresses how to build better habits, and inversely, how to break negative ones. Are they serving the type of person that you wish to become, or are they holding you back from that?" Instead, aim to reprogram your brain by attributing characteristics to yourself that you wish you had, he suggests. And move towards breaking bad habits using these four practices.

If you want to be more productive at work, you may need to switch up your after-work routine. That's according to James Clear, a decision-making expert and author of the New York Times bestselling book "Atomic Habits." In a workplace context, this can look like taking personal calls away from your desk, limiting distractions or turning off your work phone at the end of the day.
