Australia are the other Tier 1 nation in the pool and fancied to advance with the pre-tournament expectation that either Fiji or Wales would take the other qualifying spot. England are one of two teams that Wales managed to beat in eight internationals played this year before the World Cup. Although it is still a long way off, the Welsh could be eyeing a semi-final spot thanks to Sunday’s success in Bordeaux. This is despite a year of mediocre returns as they lost four of five games in the Six Nations and two of their three World Cup warm-up internationals. So that's exciting,”Gatland had taken them to the 2019 World Cup semi-final where they narrowly lost to eventual winners South Africa.

In the latest Equity Talk, Pringle said male mentors made room for her ideas, even if they weren't popular. With growth comes opportunity, she told me, because "new restaurants create the next big promotion." It's working in our restaurants and talking to our crew members and our general managers on what we can do to really create opportunities. You know, new restaurants create the next big promotion — the next DM and GM and director of operations. Those are the things that I see in part of my role as being able to help create growth.

So there's some really good things to take out of the week, (but) the biggest thing would be we gave away a few too many penalties. "Everyone's got to understand what we're trying to do and understand how the referees are refereeing. "What we've got to take from this game is the learnings but also keep believing because we did a lot of good things out here tonight." We're still All Blacks, we're still proud of who we are and what we are," he said. And we showed how dangerous we are on the break so that's what we'll be going for next week."

Ole Lehmann, a crypto trader who lost money when FTX crashed, spent months experimenting with and creating content with help from ChatGPT. Earlier this month, he launched a course teaching entrepreneurs how to use AI to create marketing content. I was a crypto trader and investor for over six years. Two months later, in early August, the AI Audience Accelerator course, which teaches solopreneurs how to use AI to create content that could help market their businesses, was born. Everyone says you have to create content to get customers, but most people don't have the time or frameworks for how to do that.

May told Insider that being open about the challenges you're facing can make you a better leader. Leaders need to "take the wall down" so those under them can say what they need to perform best. Insider recently asked May about her work in HR and meeting the needs of the company's large employee base. But you also need to work for companies with leaders that really understand the challenges. But I think employers need to keep top of mind the needs of their people.

It became clear that I needed to take time off and create space to reignite my creative spark. Therefore, rest felt foreign to me, shame-inducing even. Instead of planning a vacation, I produced my very own creative residency— a dedicated time to think, play and rest inspired by the acclaimed novelist and essayist. Here's how I crafted my creative residency in case you want to create your own. Imani EllisWhat I learned most during my creative residency was that going forward, I needed dedicated time to be alone with my thoughts so that I can revisit what I really desire for my life.

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative conducted layoffs this week, in a major blow to its education team. However, the cuts were entirely focused on employees in tech and grantmaking in CZI's education department, a core pillar of the organization's since its founding. As part of the changes, two leaders in CZI's education work are leaving their roles. While today's announcement most directly impacts our Education teammates, I know we are all affected regardless of where we sit in the organization. I am grateful for all of our Education teammates, past and present, whose contributions made our accomplishments to-date possible and carved our path forward.

An Amazon delivery drone is on display at Amazon's BOS27 Robotics Innovation Hub in Westborough, Massachusetts on November 10, 2022. Jim Mullin, Prime Air's chief pilot, left Amazon last month, according to his LinkedIn profile. Just as Prime Air was set to launch early this year and start delivering packages sent to consumers, CEO Andy Jassy, who succeeded Bezos in 2021, embarked on the largest round of layoffs in company history, which included significant job cuts at Prime Air. But problems for Prime Air predated the economic downturn. At the beginning of the year, the company began durability and reliability (D&R) testing, which requires that Prime Air complete several hundred hours of flying without any incidents.

I've had the opportunity to mentor several people during my 20-year career in tech as a senior leader at companies like Amazon and eBay. To start your mentorship off right, come prepared with specific, time-based goals for what you'd like to accomplish. Without knowing why you want a promotion, what the promotion duties look like, and when you want to achieve a promotion, your mentor won't be able to give the specific feedback you need. Without this practice, not only will you not make progress, but you'll end up re-hashing the same conversation from the previous meeting. This will be a waste of time for you and your mentor and quickly result in a frustrating and unsuccessful mentorship.

But the company delivered on those lofty expectations with a quarter that was the best among the group so far. Taken together, the company has been able to significantly accelerate revenue growth. Coupled with rebounding operating margins, the stock is now more deserving of a so-called growth stock multiple instead of the "value" label investors had attached to the firm last year. But for now, Zuckerberg has a pass because, to his credit, Meta's cost structure has been reduced significantly this year. After buying back $9.22 billion worth of stock in the first quarter, Meta only repurchased $793 million in the second quarter.

Whenever there's mention of a new CEO opening in tech, former Yahoo CEO and former Google vice president Marissa Mayer's name always seems to come up. However, Mayer raised some eyebrows in 2020 when instead of turning up at another Silicon Valley giant, she launched startup Sunshine to focus on the seemingly "smaller" problem of contacts. Mayer and co-founder Enrique Muñoz Torres started working on Sunshine in 2018 to automate the mundane task of organizing contact information. The company also has Sunshine Birthdays and Sunshine Circles that delve into organizing birthdays and sharing information with groups. "The idea is that Sunshine Contacts basically becomes the brain that operates your contacts," Mayer told CNBC back in 2020 when the app was launched.
