An arrest warrant has been issued for Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson after he failed to appear for a court hearing on traffic charges in Massachusetts. The NFL regular season kicked off Thursday night with the Detroit Lions shocking the Kansas City Chiefs, last season's Super Bowl champions, in the opening game. CNN —Tom Brady has shut down speculation and rumors of a potential return to football. While speaking to Sports Illustrated, the 45-year-old Brady said on Thursday he’s “certain” he will not play football again. Instead, Brady said he was looking forward to starting his role as a broadcaster for Fox Sports and the “opportunity ahead” with the Las Vegas Raiders. Mahomes was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one of battery by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office.
