CNN —Novak Djokovic continues to impress on his return to the US Open, breezing past Spain’s Bernabé Zapata Miralles in straight sets to reach the third round. The Serbian is looking to add to his record tally of 23 men’s grand slam titles and the ease of the 6-4 6-1 6-1 win would suggest that winning the tournament is a real possibility. Zapata Miralles put up a fight during the first set, but Djokovic’s class showed throughout the remainder of the matchup. In an interview with Outsports, the Jacksonville Jaguars associate strength coach said he no longer wanted to lie, as well as hoping to inspire others by publicly coming out. “I don’t want to feel like I have to think about it anymore,” Maxen told Outsports. CNN —The US Women’s National Team (USWNT) kicked off their Women’s World Cup campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Vietnam. A brace from US soccer’s newest superstar Sophia Smith and a late goal from Lindsey Horan was enough to give the defending champion a dream start as it begins a historic World Cup campaign. The USWNT are chasing a third World Cup in a row and could not have asked for a better start,dominating proceedings from the outset before Smith opened the scoring just 14 minutes into her World Cup debut.
