I ended up having to wear clothes from the gift shop and wash my undergarments in a sink. The largest and heaviest bags are sometimes left behind and brought in on a later flight. Since the lodge's laundry service had a too-long turnaround time, I had to wash my underwear and socks in the sink with a hotel soap bar. I tried to buy clothing, but in this remote part of Africa, we only had access to the lodge's gift shop. You can imagine the dirty looks I got from other tourists when I showed up for our safari in my shirt as if I hadn't known the proper dress code.

New York/London CNN —Tupperware Brands Corporation, whose food containers have been a mainstay in American kitchens, has filed for bankruptcy. “Over the last several years, the company’s financial position has been severely impacted by the challenging macroeconomic environment,” Laurie Ann Goldman, Tupperware president and CEO, said in a statement late Tuesday. Tupperware has historically only sold to consumers through so-called direct sales, most commonly at “Tupperware parties,” similar to cosmetic company Avon’s business model, and only began selling in Target in 2022. Many businesses file for bankruptcy protection to wind down some operations, shed debt and cut costs. A common route, also chosen by Tupperware, is Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which allows the company to solve its financial problems by restructuring.

☆ 8-year-old girl takes car on 25-minute joyride to Target

An 8-year-old Ohio girl is home safe after she took her mother’s car and drove to Target 25 minutes away as her family and police searched for her. They reported that the 8-year-old was last seen by the family nearly two hours earlier. The Bainbridge Target is just over 11 miles southwest of the child’s home, according to the police report. Officers found the girl inside of the Target and her family came to pick her and the car up. “Not sure what she bought or if she was even able to use her Target app to save 5%,” Bedford Police Dept.
