Long Covid continues to evade a clear diagnostic test, researchers reported in a study published Monday in the Annals of Internal Medicine. They found no differences between those with long Covid and those without the condition. Different symptoms were assigned different scores, and a long Covid diagnosis was met if the score reached a level of 12. There was no time cutoff for symptoms and a positive Covid test was not required for diagnosis. Consumers reported losing $210 million to scams across all payment apps in 2023, according to data from the Federal Trade Commission. The new bill aims to amend the law to make banks more liable for all financial transactions, whether they're authorized or unauthorized. AdvertisementOver 99.95% of all Zelle transactions in 2023 were completed without instances of fraud, according to Zelle. In the meantime, the Protecting Consumers from Payment Scams Act will go to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs for review.
