First of all, the entire house is one big open room that's about the size of our old living room — our kitchen, foyer, and dining table are all in the same space. London CNN —A London members club formed in 1831 has voted to let women join for the first time, after coming under scrutiny for its exclusionary policy in recent weeks. Members of the Garrick Club, in London’s West End, gathered Tuesday to debate admitting women to the club, the BBC and the Guardian reported. Ann Arbor's program, called Guaranteed Income to Grow Ann Arbor, is giving low- and moderate-income residents $528 a month, no strings attached. Over 50 municipalities have tried the GBI model since 2019, offering low-income participants between $100 and $1,000 a month, no strings attached for one to five years. "This pilot will help us learn whether guaranteed income payments can be an effective way to help some entrepreneurs with their business efforts." Chicago announced in April that it restarted its previous GBI program that offered low-income residents $500 a month. AdvertisementUniversal Music Group has inked a new deal with TikTok that will return some of the hottest hits to the video-sharing app. TikTok announced Thursday that the two businesses reached a "multi-dimensional licensing agreement" that fans of artists like Drake and Olivia Rodrigo will be relieved to hear about. It comes after TikTok removed UMG artists' music in February after negotiations over an expired licensing contract heated up, meaning people couldn't post content on TikTok featuring overlaid UMG songs, for example.
