Looking at variables including catalysts for the surge, the price of money (i.e., interest rates), share prices and valuation, Hartnett sees similarities between the Magnificent Seven and some of the other big bubbles going back centuries. As far as what could pop the bubble, he cited tightening financial conditions and rising real interest rates. From a valuation standpoint, the Magnificent Seven is currently 20% above its 200-day moving average. "It ain't cheap but true that bubble highs have seen dafter valuations," Hartnett wrote.

A new one-page indictment delivered by the grand jury Friday alleges Baldwin caused Hutchins' death — either by negligence or “total disregard or indifference” for safety. Defense attorneys for Baldwin indicate they'll fight the charge, which carries a potential prison sentence of up to 18 months. The indictment provides prosecutors with two alternative standards for the felony involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin. Mangels said a grand jury indictment is by no means an assurance that prosecutors will prevail at trial. “Just getting an indictment from a grand jury in no way means the prosecution has a slam dunk case or even a strong case,” she said.

CNN —Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday went after Nikki Haley while referring to her by her first name, Nimarata, in the latest example of Trump using racist dog whistles to attack his GOP presidential rival. Haley is the daughter of Indian immigrants and was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa. Trump misspelled Nimarata as “Nimrada” as he attacked her in a new post on his social media platform Truth Social. Trump was a chief promoter of the racist lie that Obama was not born in the US and ineligible to be president. Vivek Ramaswamy, who dropped out of the GOP presidential race on Monday and endorsed Trump, has also tried to attack Haley over her given name.
