A smartphone with a displayed Qualcomm logo is placed on a computer motherboard in this illustration taken March 6, 2023. Qualcomm executives said that the company's new Snapdragon Elite X chip will be available in laptops starting next year and has been redesigned to better handle artificial intelligence tasks like summarizing emails, writing text and generating images. Qualcomm will be the first to market with a chip to challenge Apple, whose laptop and desktop computers have more than doubled their market share since the iPhone maker introduced custom-designed chips in 2020. Qualcomm claimed on Tuesday that the X Elite is faster than Apple's M2 Max chip at some tasks and more energy efficient than both Apple and Intel (INTC.O) PC chips. They are in danger of a steep recession and the risk of a repeat of 1987’s Black Monday. Early in the pandemic, the volume of U.S. dollars in circulation soared. That's why I'm spending Prime Day looking out for the gaming deals that are actually worth your money. I've been scouring Amazon Prime Big Deal Day's kitchen section to find Prime Day deals on kitchen items. Displays can vary a lot in performance, so figuring out which Prime Day deals on TVs are worth your money can be tricky. Some of the best Prime Day deals on printers include the Brother MFC-J1010DW, a budget multi-function unit that's less than $80. Tanks have big guns, but medium-caliber cannons on other armored vehicles can be just as deadly. AdvertisementAdvertisementWhile tanks and their big guns have been getting the lion's share of attention in Ukraine, another weapon is proving equally deadly. Medium-caliber cannon — the 20-mm to 40-mm cannon found on infantry fighting vehicles, air-defense vehicles, and other platforms around the world — have been wreaking damage against infantry and other targets. Personnel load the gun of a BMP-2 amphibious infantry fighting vehicle during an arms exhibition Russia in September 2013. The effectiveness of medium-caliber cannons suggest that as armored vehicles evolve, those guns will remain part of their armament.

Biden has vowed to replenish stocks of arms sent to Ukraine. The Biden administration is also considering using a State Department grant program to send Ukraine additional military aid, a U.S. official said. Summary Ukraine expects more air attacks on power grid this winterRussia struck energy facilities across Ukraine last winterKyiv has bolstered its air defences in preparationZHYTOMYR REGION, Ukraine, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Ukrainian air defence crews are banking on newer and better weapons systems to help prevent their country being plunged into darkness once again in a second winter of Russian missile and drone strikes. Nearly half of Ukraine's energy system was damaged by Russian attacks last winter, when Moscow pummelled power plants and transformers with cruise missiles and Iranian-made Shahed drones. The threat of attacks on the power grid remains acute following reports that Moscow has set up its own facilities to manufacture assault drones based on the Shahed-136. Skybytskyi said Russian attacks on energy infrastructure could begin in late September or early October. COST-EFFECTIVEThe Shaheds are estimated by military analysts to cost about $20,000 each, but the Western-supplied air defence missiles Kyiv used last winter cost many times more.

After connecting the monitor, choose to duplicate or extend the display in the Display Settings windows on Windows or System Preferences on a Mac. And luckily, it doesn't take much work to connect your laptop to another monitor. How to connect your laptop to a monitorWhether you have a MacBook or Windows laptop, the basic steps to connect to a separate monitor are the same. A standard 18Gbps HDMI cable can handle 4K at 60Hz, but if you have a gaming laptop, you'll probably want a 48Gbps HDMI cable that can transmit 4K at up to 120Hz. But remember, your monitor and laptop also need to support these display settings in order to enable them.

There are five major bearish arguments for an imminent recession and a falling stock market. Here's why each of the bearish arguments have yet to put a dent in the stock market rally. According to Wednesday note from market veteran Ed Yardeni, all of the bearish arguments supporting a stock market sell-off and eventual recession have fallen flat, and that means there could be more gains ahead. These are the five bearish arguments for the stock market, and why they haven't yet derailed the current rally, according to Yardeni.
