Judge Mike Menahan, of Montana’s First Judicial District Court, on Tuesday denied a request to temporarily block officials from keeping Ms. Zephyr off the House floor for the remainder of this session, which is scheduled to end Friday. Judge Menahan said the request would require the court “to interfere with legislative authority in a manner that exceeds this Court’s authority.”

Peel Regional Police Inspector Stephen Duivesteyn said the high-value container was removed “by illegal means” from a holding cargo facility at the Toronto-area airport Monday. Mr. Duivesteyn said the gold and other items inside the standard aircraft container, which he estimated was around five to six square feet, were valued at nearly $15 million. This type of crime is “very rare,” he said.

Turns out, one man did. An arbitration panel on Wednesday ordered Mr. Lindell to pay Robert Zeidman $5 million after the computer scientist found Mr. Lindell’s data “unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data,” the panel wrote in its decision.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said special agents with the State Bureau of Investigation arrested a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, both from Tuskegee, Ala., on Tuesday night. The teens were charged with four counts of reckless murder, the agency said.
Charles Stanley, Influential Pastor, Dies at 90

Charles Stanley , a prominent Atlanta-based pastor whose evangelical broadcasts reached audiences around the world, died Tuesday. He was 90 years old. Dr. Stanley served as a pastor at baptist churches in North Carolina, Ohio and Florida before he joined the First Baptist Church in Atlanta in 1969. There, he served as senior pastor for around 50 years, becoming pastor emeritus in 2020.

At least five people have died in a shooting in Louisville, Ky., Monday morning, police said. The Louisville Metro Police Department said at least five people were killed and six were transferred to local hospitals Monday after an incident involving an “active aggressor” in downtown Louisville along the 300 block of East Main Street. Police said before 10:20 a.m. local time the “suspected shooter has been neutralized.”
At least four people died and eight were injured in a shooting at a bank in Louisville, Ky., Monday morning, police said. The Louisville Metro Police Department said the suspected shooter, who they said they believe was a lone gunman, was also killed. The shooter was connected to the bank, police said, but it wasn’t known if the suspect was a current or former employee.
