The "BlackBerry" trailer dropped Wednesday, and it's trending at number 21 on YouTube only 24 hours later. Critics and nostalgic BlackBerry fans alike say they're thrilled by the cast and the chance to revisit the iconic phone. It tells the story of the rise and fall of Canadian tech company Research in Motion, the maker of the BlackBerry. "I'm shocked that BlackBerry actually looks like it might be pretty damn good," Canadian tech editor Patrick O'Rourke tweeted. Although the film might strike the hearts of BlackBerry loyalists or Y2K enthusiasts, the phones most likely won't be back.
Filling out brackets for the NCAA tournament is a rite of March. It’s also a famously inexact science, where the grandmother who picks teams based on their mascots has as good a chance of winning as the analytics geek who spent hours poring over team sheets. You could reference the Madness Machine, The Wall Street Journal’s bracket generator based on reams of data from the NCAA and basketball statistician Ken Pomeroy. Or you could go for a more subjective approach: Is red your favorite color? Do you like to watch teams where super tall players dominate?
Best Buy is best known for installing TVs and home theater systems. Best Buy began setting up virtual-care systems in mid-February for 10 hospitals in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. Best Buy and Atrium did not disclose specific financial terms, but said Atrium will buy the devices from Best Buy and use Geek Squad services for installation and retrieval when the patient is cleared from care. For Best Buy, the hospital-at-home program represents the latest push to turn health care into a more meaningful revenue driver. Best Buy, like retailers including Walmart and Target , has seen consumers buy fewer big-ticket and discretionary items as they pay more for food and housing.

[1/2] The Microsoft logo is seen outside the Microsoft Experience Center in New York City, U.S., January 18, 2023. REUTERS/Shannon StapletonFeb 17 (Reuters) - Microsoft (MSFT.O) said on Friday it will limit chat sessions on its new Bing search engine powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI) to five questions per session and 50 questions per day. "As we mentioned recently, very long chat sessions can confuse the underlying chat model in the new Bing. To address these issues, we have implemented some changes to help focus the chat sessions," Microsoft said in the blog post. The new Bing, which has a wait list of millions of people for access, is a potentially lucrative opportunity for Microsoft.
Last week, Microsoft and Alphabet's (GOOGL.O) Google announced new generative AI chatbots a day apart from the other. Microsoft expects the more human responses from the Bing AI chatbot will generate more users for its search function and therefore more advertisers. Advertisements within the Bing chatbot may also enjoy more prominence on the page compared to traditional search ads. loadingMicrosoft's Edge web browser, which uses the Bing search engine, has a market share under 5% worldwide, according to one estimate from web analytics firm StatCounter. Parts Geek did not immediately respond to questions about whether it was aware of its ads appearing in the new Bing chatbot.

He says big tech workers are in the top 1% of talent and he's excited to hire them for his startup. Reza says startups have a very different culture and hiring strategy than Big Tech companies. The workers at Big Tech firms are the 1% of the 1%. Here's my advice for recently laid off tech workers looking for a new opportunity at a startup. Laid off Big Tech hires need to show off more than just the technical capabilitiesWhat I'm looking for is that culture fit.
According to the report, 167 U.S. investors took part in 401 transactions, or roughly 17% of the investments into Chinese AI companies in the period. Only one Chinese AI company that received funding from U.S. investors is involved in developing AI applications for military or public safety uses, according to CSET.
Last year, selling his two Notion templates generated $1 million in revenue. I started my main YouTube channel in 2014 and started transitioning out of college-advice content. In 2021, I launched my first paid-for Notion template, "Creator's Companion," on Gumroad, an e-commerce platform for selling digital products. I have never marketed either of my paid Notion templates on my main YouTube channel. I think the people who copy templates don't understand the guts of them.
Alphabet, Amazon and Best Buy are among the fund's plays on the aging in place theme. Best Buy breaks into the space It's Best Buy that has really been doubling down on its efforts to break into the space. Best Buy sees the role of technology within health care becoming much more important. Medicare Advantage's health care at home coverage includes primary care, transitional care when someone is released from a hospital and often hospice care, she said. That should lead to higher earnings power, said Baker, who has a buy rating and $237 price target on Lowe's stock.
Jon Llewellyn works at Snow Business International, a company that produces fake snow. I work at Snow Business International, where we make fake snow for all kinds of movie sets and more. There's a lot of secrecy around Christmas TV ads in the UKPeople talk, so we use code names to muddy the water. Jon LlewellynRecently, we cleaned up this entire area of fake snow on a shoot in Ireland. But it's funny because I thought it looked a bit unrealistic on the cars, even though it was real snow.
Focusing on hard skills like data analysis as well as management helped me move up in my career. The spy plane set a number of flight speed records. Spy planes such as the SR-71 Blackbird could really boogey. Since his recent acquisition of Twitter, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has been more media-averse than ever. So I decided to try the next best thing: I sat down to interview an artificial-intelligence version of Musk. Using neural language models, Character.AI then draws on information the engineers have fed it to develop the "voice" of its AI Elon. Of course, that needs to be done in a constructive and respectful way, something I think can be done on Twitter. The best way to fight ideas you don't agree with is with words, not with silence.
For my book, "Raising an Entrepreneur," I talked to 70 parents who raised highly successful people. When I asked them what skills they taught their kids at an early age, there was one in particular that they all agreed on: curiosity. As parents, we all want to raise confident, fearless and resilient kids. They encouraged their kids to fix things. Robert's curiosity for how things worked started when he was a young boy, when he unscrewed all the doorknobs in his parents' house.
Tot Squad began selling services at Walmart stores nationwide and on Walmart.com in February. After being "relentless" and pitching to many different people at the company, Tot Squad finally signed a contract with Walmart in August 2019, Saxton said. It wouldn't be until February 2022 that Tot Squad would officially launch in Walmart. Customers choose between video consultation or personal installation by a Tot Squad expert technician for an extra $40 or $80, respectively. For example, she said Angi — formerly known as Angie's List — is the home-services partner for Walmart, and Tot Squad is the retail giant's baby-services provider.
Kelly Fitzsimmons is the owner of Light Up Your Holidays, a holiday decorating service in Chicago. We decorate the exteriors of homes for Christmas and other holidays, like Halloween, which is becoming increasingly popular in our business. He told me about how he'd get super busy in September and October because of holiday decorating. Now, about 20% of my clients decorate for Halloween. I urge people to relinquish the competitive spirit around holiday decorating.
The things that parents say to their kids can either encourage and give them confidence, or lower their self-esteem and hold them back in life. As I researched and wrote my book, "Raising an Entrepreneur," I talked to 70 parents who raised highly successful adults about how they helped their kids achieve their dreams. These parents were the opposite of "helicopter" parents (a.k.a. “My parents weren’t angry, they just told me I had to put them all back," he said. We fail, we try and try again, we fail, we try and try and try."
