Read previewStefano Secchi, chef and owner of Rezdôra in New York, has many opinions when it comes to what differentiates a high-end Italian restaurant from a gimmick. It's never a good sign when a restaurant is serving out-of-season ingredientsCaprese isn't always in season. If the classics aren't prepared and labeled properly, the restaurant is a hard sell for SecchiA good Italian restaurant wouldn't drown its pasta in sauce or butter. But it's a good sign if the oil is bursting with really rich and complex flavors and fragrances. A quality Italian restaurant should have a proper coffee serviceCoffee service is often the last chance for a restaurant to leave diners with a good impression.

At the heart of the plan is Starbucks' "Siren Craft System," a series of processes that aim to make baristas' jobs easier and speed up service times for customers. Starbucks said more than 10% of its 10,000 stores have already implemented the system, which includes changing the production order for hot and cold drinks. Starbucks reported rates of incomplete mobile app orders in the mid-teens and said occasional customers came in less. Losing customers because of slow orders and other store frustrations could cost Starbucks at a particularly vulnerable time. The company plans to train existing workers for the role or potentially add new baristas, if needed.

"Brat," along with viral hits like Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" and Tinashe's "Nasty," have ushered in a season of pleasure and levity — what my friends and I have been calling a "smooth brain summer." The primary lure of pop music has always been escapism. Indeed, we've lived in a pop world dominated by Taylor Swift and refashioned in her likeness for several years. These peculiar bops form the perfect foundation for a "smooth brain summer" soundtrack — though please note that doesn't mean they're devoid of value or meaning. An appetite (and a need) still exists for complex metaphors, history lessons, and personal revelations in pop music — but now is not the time.

“The Trolley Song,” a second-act standout from the 1944 movie musical “Meet Me in St. Louis,” was sung by Judy Garland in striking Technicolor. And yet it has found new life online nearly 80 years later as an unlikely anthem for LGBTQ Pride. “Happy pride month (sic) to Judy Garland in the trolley song. LINDSAY ZOLADZFollowing her worldwide 2023 hit “Water,” Tyla pulls away from temptation in “Safer,” harnessing the log-drum beat and sparse, subterranean bass lines of amapiano. "One woman wanted to rent my office to work," remembers Lisa Slocum, the airport Fifth Third Bank branch manager. Capital One closed its branch at Washington, D.C.'s Dulles International Airport in 2020, instead creating "airport lounges" for cardholders in Dulles, along with similar spots at airports in Denver and Dallas. Yet full-service airport bank branches are a relative rarity, surprising in a retail landscape that often resembles an upscale mall more than a terminal. Fifth Third BankWells Fargo operates a full-service branch in Las Vegas's Harry Reid International Airport, and according to a bank spokeswomen, has a multi-year relationship with the airport that involves both the branch and multiple ATMs throughout terminals. McAdam says ATMs and advanced-function kiosks are one thing, but a full-service branch, except maybe in the largest markets, is overkill.
