The company is considering raising a Series C before what's left of its $90 million in funding runs out. BeReal closed a $60 million Series B funding round at an around $600 million valuation in late 2022, following a $30 million Series A earlier the same year. Sooner than later, BeReal leadership will be forced to choose between raising another round and maintaining its independence or selling itself outright, running the risk of disappearing. Company leadership holds an all-hands every quarter after they meet with the company's board, which includes investors. As for the possibility of an acquisition, BeReal leadership has told employees there are "offers" that have been made, without giving any specifics.

She’s noticed the food in North Carolina is not as fresh, with smaller produce sections and lots more frozen and pre-prepared foods. She added that there’s also a tax on grocery food in North Carolina and none in New York, and she estimates she’s paying more in North Carolina on groceries.

The Red Sox said Williams died Friday at AdventHealth North Pinellas Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Florida, after a brief illness. COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The field of candidates onstage for the fourth Republican presidential debate will be the smallest yet. To qualify for the fourth debate, candidates needed at least 6% support in two national polls or 6% in one national poll as well as two polls from four of the early-voting states — Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina. During the last debate, Haley called the entrepreneur “scum” after he invoked Haley’s daughter during a critique of TikTok. Without Trump at the debates, Christie has been left without his intended target but has brought him up nonetheless. Chris Christie will face off in Tuscaloosa in what will be the smallest debate stage lineup so far this year. To make the Tuscaloosa stage, candidates had to meet higher donor and polling criteria set by the Republican National Committee. As Apple ’s vice president of real estate, design, and construction for 13 years, Bob Bridger helped design the tech giant’s glassy, expansive stores. When he built a home in Aspen, Colo., after leaving Apple in 2015, he brought some of that sensibility to the contemporary estate, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and a “clubhouse” building with a glass garage door. Through Bridger’s relationships with vendors from his time at Apple, he connected with the owners of a quarry in Marble, Colo., and was able to handpick the stone in the house. After several years of construction, the property was completed in 2022, and Bridger is now putting it on the market for $45 million.

Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Otani won the American League honor, becoming the first two-time unanimous MVP. Mookie Betts received all 30 second-place votes and 270 points, followed by Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Freddie Freeman with 227 points. Betts earned the 2018 AL MVP award with Boston and Freeman was the 2020 NL MVP with the Dodgers. Betts batted .307 with 39 homers and 107 RBIs, and Freeman hit .331 with 29 homers and 102 RBIs.
