In the first episodes of the couple's much anticipated Netflix documentary series, Harry, who stepped down from royal duties two years ago with Meghan, said he accepted people would fundamentally disagree with that he had done. In the documentary, Harry draws comparisons with Meghan's treatment and the intense media intrusion that his mother Princess Diana had suffered. "This is about duty and service and I feel as though, being part of this family, it is my duty to uncover this exploitation and bribery that happens within our media," Harry said.

LONDON, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Britain's Prince Harry and wife Meghan accepted a human rights award at a "Ripple of Hope" gala in New York where they were honoured for addressing racial injustice and mental health. The British royals received the award late on Tuesday from the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation which honours leaders across government, business, advocacy and entertainment who have shown an "unwavering commitment to social change". Kerry Kennedy, president of the Foundation and daughter of the slain U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, said the couple had been "incredibly brave" to talk about their experience of racial injustice and mental illness, the Telegraph reported. Meghan and Harry said in a statement that "a ripple of hope can turn into a wave of change".

LONDON, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Britain's Prince Harry's memoir will be published on Jan. 10 with the title "Spare" and will tell with "raw unflinching honesty" his journey from "trauma to healing", publisher Penguin Random House said on Thursday. The title refers to Harry's position as the younger brother of Prince William, who has been heir to the British throne since their father Charles become king last month following the death of Queen Elizabeth. A photo of Harry looking directly into the camera features on the cover, along with the words "Prince Harry" and "Spare". Harry will support British charities with donations from his proceeds, the publisher said.
