New York CNN —Finally, an emoji to represent us all is coming soon: An exhausted face with bags under its eyes. It’s one of eight new emoji that will appear on smartphones and computers next year, which also include a root vegetable, a harp, a leafless tree, a fingerprint, a shovel, a purple splatter, and a flag for the remote island in the English Channel called Sark. Emojipedia, a popular emoji reference site, released sample images a few months ago. Recently, the Unicode Consortium, the non-profit that oversees global emoji standards and new releases approved the new emoji lineup. The exhausted emoji face had the honors of winning the “most anticipated” emoji in the World Emoji Awards receiving more than 60% of the vote.

Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley raised its price target on Constellation Energy to $313m implying more than 20% upside. 7 a.m.: DA Davidson downgrades Microsoft, cites diminishing AI lead DA Davidson believes that Microsoft has lost its edge over competitors in artificial intelligence. The investment firm downgraded shares of the tech giant to neutral from buy, although analyst Gil Luria maintained his $475 price target. This could begin to have a material impact on the company's returns beginning in 2025, the analyst wrote. Wells Fargo analyst Neil Kalton also hiked his price target on the stock to $300, implying nearly 18% upside ahead.

An Israeli-designed radar system encircling the island can detect passersby, in low visibility, from half a mile away. Often described as "butlers with badges," the Indian Creek police force is unlike most of its counterparts. The Indian Creek radar can detect objects on the water and use artificial intelligence to classify them according to the risk they pose. Now unions are pushing back, demanding the return of traditional pension plans their members lost in past concession deals. First, a traditional pension plan that pays retirees, or their survivors, a fixed amount of money every month until they die, known as a defined benefit plan. Far less than 1% have only a traditional pension plan. The loss of the traditional pension plan at Boeing 10 years ago is one of the issues driving the strike this year. But the deck is stacked against that kind of reopening of a pension plan at Boeing, even with “pension or bust” signs on the current picket lines.

But one employee — or "partner," as Starbucks calls them — at a store that adopted the Siren Craft System earlier this year told Business Insider that the system isn't as effective as Starbucks has portrayed. The Siren Craft System is supposed to free up time that partners can devote to customer service and improving their coffee-making skills, Starbucks said in July. "Unless it's insanely slow, there's no time at any time of day to practice latte art or make samples for customers," the employee who has used the Siren Craft System said. The Siren Craft System is just Starbucks' latest effort to shorten wait times and improve operations at its stores. But now, the Siren System reserves one blender for frappuccinos and the other for Refreshers.

The Georgia state election board on Friday voted 3-2 to require counties to hand-count ballots cast on Election Day, a move that could drastically lengthen the amount of time to tally results in a critical battleground state. Number one is the actual counting of the number of ballots that you have at the precinct. Georgia's rule only requires election workers to count the number of ballots — not every votes on the ballot — but election officials are still worried about the impact. The SALT deduction allows tax payers to deduct up to $10,000 of property, sales or income taxes that have already been paid to state and local governments. Historically, most of the tax payers who claim the deduction reside in high tax states such as New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and California. There was no cap on SALT prior to the Trump tax bill. Some of those recent conversations have featured Trump's new stance on bringing back the full SALT deduction, despite his bill being the cause for the $10,000 cap. Rep.
