Australianca, lider mondial, a câștigat competiția după ce a învins-o în finală pe Arina Sabalenka din Belarus. Barty a pierdut primul set cu 3-6, însă a avut o revenire de senzație și s-a impus în următoarele două cu 6-0 6-3. Partida a durat o oră și 46 de minute, iar australianca a reușit 5 aşi.
