It may sound like a novelty, but in my initial testing I’ve found double tap to be surprisingly useful (and it feels pretty magical, too). I can see double tap evolving to become as natural a gesture as poking at the Apple Watch’s screen or spinning its digital crown. (And I’m usually the first to say if an Apple feature is mostly hype and little function.)

Amp, a live audio app that lets users DJ their own show, is seen on a smartphone. Amazon is shutting down its live audio service, called Amp, the company confirmed to CNBC. Amp allows users to host their own live show, where callers can join and request to speak. "We learned a lot about how live music communities interact in the process, which we are bringing to bear as we build new fan experiences at scale in Amazon Music." Amazon has made other bets in audio and entertainment, including a music streaming platform, Twitch livestreaming service and audiobooks.

Mira Murati wasn't always sure OpenAI's generative chatbot ChatGPT was going to be the sensation it has become. "In 2019, we had GPT3, and there was the first time that we had AI systems that kind of showed some sense of language understanding. And if you really think about it, that hasn't really been revolutionized in decades." Murati envisions users being able to talk with ChatGPT the same way they might chat with a friend or a colleague. "And so that's really where we're going — towards these systems that will eventually be able to help us with extremely hard problems.
