Ukraine’s forces swept toward the southern city of Kherson on Friday, two days after Russia said its troops were abandoning the regional capital in one of the largest symbolic defeats for the Kremlin since it launched its invasion. President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his nightly address late Thursday that Ukrainian forces had retaken 41 settlements as they advanced toward Kherson, the only regional capital that Russia had seized since February.
The sources say Justice Department officials are looking carefully at a cross section of past cases involving the mishandling of classified material. Though his comments were about the separate Jan. 6 investigation, Justice Department officials said they apply broadly. Experts say the public evidence in the Mar-a-Lago case seems unambiguous. Less clear is whether there are aggravating factors — such as whether the Justice Department can prove Trump obstructed justice by failing to turn over documents despite a grand jury subpoena. Martin’s lawyers said he was a hoarder, and prosecutors concluded that he had not given classified information to anyone.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy struck a more serious and restrained note in his nightly address, despite the "joy in the informational space" following Russia's decision to withdraw troops from Kherson. "Maybe this doesn't sound like what everyone expects right now, maybe it doesn't sound like what's in the news [today]," he said. Instead, Zelenskyy explained, Ukraine moves "very carefully, without emotions, without unnecessary risk," both in the interests of liberating the entire territory of Ukraine and minimizing loss of life on and off the battlefield. That also means remaining silent on details of upcoming operations, he noted, and letting the victories speak for themselves when they come. "This is how we will secure the liberation of Kherson, Kakhovka, Donetsk, and our other cities," he said.

Airbnb users will soon be able to see the total cost of booking a stay before they check out, a reversal of the platform's longstanding policy that had peeved many users. Users will also be able to view a full price breakdown that shows Airbnb’s service fee, discounts, and taxes. The change means total price, instead of nightly price, will be prioritized in its search ranking algorithm. Guests are still charged an Airbnb service fee, a cleaning fee, an extra-guest fee if applicable, plus any taxes and deposits.

Nov 7 (Reuters) - Airbnb Inc's (ABNB.O) chief executive tweeted on Monday that the vacation rental company would make changes in the way it displays prices on its platform after it faced customer complaints. "I've heard you loud and clear—you feel like prices aren't transparent and checkout tasks are a pain," CEO Brian Chesky tweeted. Chesky said Airbnb would make four changes starting next month, where guests would be able to see the total price they are required to pay up front. The San Francisco-based company will prioritize the total price instead of a nightly fare in its search ranking algorithm, Chesky said. Addressing customer complaints about guests having to complete checkout tasks, Chesky said guests should not have to do "unreasonable checkout tasks such as stripping the beds, doing the laundry, or vacuuming".
Airbnb is updating its platform to show guests the total price of an accommodation before booking. Brian Chesky, Airbnb CEO, tweeted that he's heard guest concerns that "prices aren't transparent." The first is that guests will be able to see the total price of an accommodation, before taxes, while searching. "Hosts need to set their own cleaning fees because everyone is in a different position when it comes to cleaning," Airbnb said, adding that there's a difference between cleaning a studio apartment and a five-bedroom house. "We started as an affordable alternative to hotels, and affordability is especially important today," Chesky tweeted.

Some users have previously complained the fees were only visible near the end of the booking process. Airbnb also plans to prioritize total price over the nightly price when ranking search results, according to a company blog post. “I’ve heard you loud and clear—you feel like prices aren’t transparent,” CEO Brain Chesky tweeted Monday. Airbnb announced a review of its fee system in May 2021 in response to customer criticism on social media. Customers have faced additional fees for not completing lists of asks assigned by hosts at the end of their stays.
