If Thursday's move into real estate stocks is reflective of a bigger trend, there's still time to make winning investments in the housing sector. As big technology stocks tumbled, traders jumped into real estate-connected holdings on a hunch that the sector would benefit from a lower-rate environment. Exactly 55% of analysts rate the stock a buy, with an average price target showing shares can rise close to 15%. About 2 out of every 3 analysts rate the stock a buy, and the average price target implies shares can climb almost 20%. The average price target reflects further upside of more than 16% over the next year.

"The beginning of bull markets has this really incredible trajectory," Demmert said in a recent interview. Sadly, that victim identity was only reinforced in the mid-2010s, when Duvall appeared on an episode of “Dr. Phil” episode with a ratings-bait title, the then 67-year-old actress made confusing claims and was apparently struggling with her mental health. It was buoyed, however, by Duvall, whose unique charm and childlike whimsy as host and presenter of each tale was the perfect fairy dust. “I totally transformed the federal judiciary,” Trump boasted at a summit hosted by the right-wing Moms for Liberty group last summer. “Many presidents never get the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court justice. But as Trump drives toward a potential second term, one thing is clear: He’s just getting started. Heading into November's U.S. presidential election, professional investors agree on one strategy — diversification remains key. Diversification to hedge tax rate risk FBB Capital Partners' Mike Bailey said that should former President Donald Trump win, his tax cuts might mean better overall prospects for equities. Bailey emphasized that while his investment strategy avoids predicting macroeconomic events and timing the market, Depending on the election's outcome, there could obviously be different results for investors, investors could find it helpful to look at the extreme outcomes of the election. He recommended diversifying across different asset classes, since higher tax rates could lead to downside in the equity market. "If tax rates change, I don't think bonds are going to move that much, so you're pretty safe on that side," he said.

If current trends continue, Mr. Trump could rack up one of the most decisive presidential victories since 2008. The Biden campaign hoped to change this political dynamic by calling for a historic early debate in June. Of all the battleground states, Mr. Biden had been performing best in Wisconsin. However, in two polls released this week, Mr. Trump has pulled ahead of Mr. Biden. Republicans clearly understand that these three battleground states are Mr. Biden’s only remaining path to 270 electoral votes.

Nobody gets married planning to get divorced, and yet about half of all marriages end that way. This year I've learned even queer marriages aren't special or immune from this fate. However, this year, a few months before turning 40, I learned the life we had was no longer what my partner wanted. However, now that it has, I've learned that isn't the end of the world. I'm also learning that I like the new life I'm building — maybe even better than the one I lost.

Dave Sekera, chief US market strategist at Morningstar, says that he’s watching for insights on banks’ delinquency rates. Consumers have increasingly fallen behind on or missed payments in recent months as they get squeezed by high interest rates. But banks could see higher losses compared to 2023 if the economy were to experience a downturn, the Fed warned. Investors are wagering that the central bank will begin easing rates as soon as September, according to the CME FedWatch Tool. “The worst outcome for all of us is what you call stagflation: higher rates and recession,” Dimon said in an interview with CNBC.

PepsiCo : The soft drinks and snacks giant reported a mixed quarterly Thursday with a sales miss and an earnings beat. Jim Cramer said Thursday that PepsiCo is in a tough position due to consumers using GLP-1 weight loss drugs to curb appetite. Delta Air Lines : The carrier reported record revenue during its second quarter but a slump in profits, which dragged the stock down more than 5%. Alongside a solid print, the company said it expects record revenue growth for the third quarter on booming summer travel demand. This was a "very surprising" development from the company, Cramer said, given the main use case for aluminum is aerospace, an industry that has been experiencing slower manufacturing of planes as of late.
