Yale Law School and Harvard Law School are pulling out of the U.S. News & World Report law-school ranking that they have dominated for decades, issuing a blow to the credibility and power of the high-profile rankings. “The U.S. News rankings are profoundly flawed,” Yale Law Dean Heather Gerken said. “Its approach not only fails to advance the legal profession, but stands squarely in the way of progress.”
