Read previewWarning: spoilers ahead for "House of the Dragon" season two. "House of the Dragon" season two has turned Daemon Targaryen, one of the show's most beloved characters, into a joke. At the end of the first season, the complex and charming Daemon (Matt Smith) emerged as one of the show's most popular characters. Related storiesBut in the chapters adapted for season two, Daemon only goes to Harrenhal and unites the Riverlands. But if the show's writers let themselves be constricted by the book's narrative, they risk "House of the Dragon" going stale — just like Daemon's story arc.

The Olympics adopted the same name to honor its culture and history and preserve its authenticity, Nifontov said. As breaking makes its Olympics debut, Cooper said a part of him fears it will lose some of the cultural qualities that make it a unique artform. Breaking events are scored on five factorsLike gymnastics or figure skating, breaking competitions are scored by a panel of judges. NASA and Indian spacecraft have spotted what they believe to be water on the moon’s surface, and Chinese scientists last year found water trapped in glass beads strewn across the moon. But people didn’t always know there was water on the moon, though scientists theorized about its existence for hundreds of years. “I think it has lots of potential, this new finding that we can extract molecular water directly from lunar soils,” Qian said. After the latest study, many Weibo users raised the possibility of growing plants or crops on the moon using the molecular water found in soil. “We can’t work behind closed doors – it would be best to attract all of their scientists to China,” one wrote.

Eugenicists used photographs and IQ tests to determine which people were "inferior," and sterilized those who didn't measure up — which usually turned out to be anyone who wasn't white and rich. Before he worked with photographs, Kosinski was interested in Facebook. Brynden Rivers/Lord Bloodraven in the "House of the Dragon" season two finale. Sydow's character also doesn't have the same red birthmark on his face as Brynden does in "House of the Dragon." Suni Lee held down the fort as the only American in Sunday's uneven bars final, earning a bronze and successfully defending her podium finish in Tokyo. Lee had very specific goals in mind for her Olympic encore: a team gold medal, an all-around podium finish, a bars medal and a gold medal on the balance beam. Her gold is the country's first Olympic medal in gymnastics and the first Olympic gymnastics medal for an African nation. The conflict involved contentions over where the uneven bars prodigy would train and allegations that Nemour’s coach was overworking the 17-year-old. The campaign is tapping state political directors to lead outreach to Republicans in their regions, the source told NBC News. However, the source said the campaign is having a difficult time locking in support from certain state leadership teams to head GOP outreach. As part of Sunday’s announcement, the Harris campaign said it will unveil a digital campaign where Republican Harris supporters make “their case online to fellow Republicans.”During the 2020 election, the Biden-Harris campaign relied on independent, never-Trump groups to court GOP voters. That source believes former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., will eventually endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, though she was not included in Sunday’s rollout of campaign endorsements. The source also said they suggested that the Harris campaign court the endorsement of former Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., who endorsed President Joe Biden in 2020.
