Trump’s newly announced running mate, certainly has the credentials. A corporate litigator at a prestigious San Francisco law firm, Ms. Vance has clerked for Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he was an appeals court judge, and earned degrees from Yale and Cambridge. It’s a conspicuous résumé for a woman whose husband gave a speech in 2021 titled “The Universities are the Enemy,” and rarely missed a chance to bash the establishment as he campaigned for the Senate in 2022, as The New York Times previously reported.

StubHub is delaying a potential initial public offering until after Labor Day, according to a person familiar with the deal. The online ticketing service had been eyeing a summer IPO, aiming for a valuation of at least $16.5 billion. The company has been working with JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs over the past two years on the IPO, CNBC previously reported. On Wednesday, Samsung launched two new foldable smartphones with new AI features as it continues to build up capabilities. PARIS — Samsung is developing its suite of artificial intelligence features known as Galaxy AI specifically for the Chinese market, the company's mobile chief told CNBC, as it looks to regain market share that has been decimated by local players. But China, the world's biggest smartphone market, has been a struggle for Samsung over the last few years. Foreign firms looking to launch AI features in China likely need to partner with local companies.
